"Dad, can I talk to you about something?" Thor asked Tony. Tony smiled lovingly.

"Yeah, sure! Do you wanna talk here?" Tony asked. Thor looked around. All his siblimgs were running around crazy.

"No, can we go to my room?" 

"Of course!"

Thor led Tony yo his room amd shut the door behind him. Tony sat down on the bed and looled expectantly at Thor.

"Dad. I met a girl recently," Thor said. Tony smiled, trying to look supportive, but he just looked creepy. He wasn't sure what Thor was going to follow that up with, but he wanted to be encouraging.

"Okay," Tony said.

"And we're just friends. Not boyfriend and girlfriend. We aren't a thing. But I wamt to have her over. And I want it to be known that it isnt a date. Can you let the siblings know?"

"Yeah, yeah, sure. Can you tell me about her? At least her name?"

"Her name's Brunnhilde, but everyone calls her Valkyrie."

"Valkyrie? That's gorgeous. When are you wanting to have her over?" 

"Tonight? I invited her already,"

"Yeah. I'll talk to your siblings,"

"Thank you. Make sure Pietro and Clint know we aren't dating,"

"Those two specifically?"

"Daaaad. You know why,"

"Okay, kiddo. I love you and I'm happy for you,"

"Hi Valk," Thor said, answering the door. Valkyrie looked cute, yet still scrappy. Her jeans were absolutely shredded. She was wearing a buffalo check flannel shirt tied around her waist and a Rosie the Riveter shirt. Her hair was dutch braided in three braids that ran down her back.

"Hey Thor. Thanks for having me over. My foster dad needed a break so he thanks you too," Valk said.

"No problem!" Thor said "c'mon, dinner's almost ready," He les her down the hallway to the dining room. She happily ran along behind him. She entered the room full of Starks with a massive smile on her face. 

"Guys, this is Valkyrie," Thor said "Valkyrie, this is, from left to right: Scott, my mom, Bucky, Carol, Clint, Pietro, Peter, Wanda, Loki, Steve, and my dad."

"Hey-o!" She said. She made her way over, sitting down like everyone else. She was between Wanda and Loki. Thor slid between her and Loki and they co,tinued casual conversation.

Dinner was good, smooth and easy. Valk was kind of shy, and Thor was conscientious, not making a big deal of initiating conversation or anything. She had a good,time, so the Starks considered the "not date" a success. It was quick, but still fun
