Chapter 11

_____Natalie's P.O.V____

Me and Kat got to the game. I wasn't in a great mood. It was a week since me and Austin took a break. We bumped into a bunch of people. But I wasn't into it. I just usually sat or wandered of while Kat talked to them. Kat got a boyfriend, he was very sweet. His name was nathan. He was very nice they got together a month after Kat left. She really loves him she told me. I haven't seen my brother ever since I've been here in Chicago but I don't know. I really didn't even want to see him. Me and Kat paid for our ticket to get in to the game. Then she spotted Nathan she ran up behind him and hugged him. They kissed and we all walked to look for seats and saw a couple spots in the middle. A lot of people said hi to me, some people I didn't even know. I'm guessing they were mahomies cause a lot of them squealed when they saw me probably thinking Austin was here with me even though they knew we took a break. But he wasn't with me. And I was still pretty pissed at him and if he wants me back he's gonna have to come up with one hell of an excuse.

We watched the game then half time came up and they didn't do the usual thing they usually did. The principal came up and announced something on the foldable platformed stage.

"ahem may I have your attention! Today we have something different for halftime. May I have Natalie Marie hall please come over here!" the principal said to the microphone. My heart dropped. Why are they calling me I didnt even go to this school anymore.

Everyone just looked at me and a path from my spot to the stage opened up. I took a huge gulp and walked over there. The principal pulled up a chair and I sat down. He walked away and next thing I know the beat to one less lonely girl started playing which was one of my favorite songs.

Then Austin walked out and started singing to me. I just sat there and couldn't believe my eyes. I covered my mouth so shocked! He came up to me and looked me in the eyes and sang to me. I started tearing up a bit. He finally finished the song and got on his knees and held my hand and looked me in the eyes.

"Natalie Marie Hall, I am so sorry for getting in that argument with you. I never meant to yell, I had a bad day and took it out on you. I'm so sorry." he said looking at the ground for a second then turned back up to me.

"I want to ask you something on the count of three. Okay?" he said squeezing my hand tighter. I just nodded.

"Okay 1...." Austin said and a couple people in the crowd lifted up a couple signs that said "will" "you" "take" It read. I looked up an wanted to cry.

"2...." Austin said when a couple other people lifted up a sign that said "me"

"3..." Austin said and two more signs flew up and it said "back" "please?" I put some thought into to it and put my arms around him, looked him in the eyes, and nodded.

"I love you so much! I never want to lose you again!" Austin said. I kissed him, and the crowd just awwed.

"I love you too!" I said back to him. How could my life get any better but It did!

"Natalie, I have one more question?" he said making me curious.

"mkay" I said to him. He grabbed a little white box out of his jeans.

"I love you, and I know we're young." he said opening the box. I covered my mouth seeing a gorgeous Infiniti ring from tiffany. I've been looking at that ring on my iPhone forever.

"but I want to make a promise that one day when we're older i wanna get married to you!" he said kissing my hand. I thought he was finished with that beautiful speech but it kept going.

"and I remember that day when I told you that no word could describe how much I loved you and that the only possible word was Infiniti and well this ring says it all. Natalie would you take this promise?" Austin said looking at me.
