Jade turned around and looked into Perrie’s blue eyes. Why was she always so calm when they fought? Did all of these even matter to her?

She was just standing there, looking at her, while she was crying. Again. How often were they here, in the kitchen, arguing? And always just about the same damn thing; their best friend Leigh-Anne. Perrie didn’t like the way Jade treated their best friend. It always seemed like Jade was in love with Leigh-Anne instead of her fiancé.

“Why do you always have to complain about this Perrie? It’s not like I’m betraying you with Leigh-Anne or something like this! Do you really think I’m that kind of woman? Don’t you trust your own fiancé?” She gave Perrie a look of reproach.

“Then why are you behaving like this around her? You always smile at her, always hug her and…I don’t know. You are just so affectionate towards her. And I really don’t like that. You should be like that to me. Instead you’re rejecting me every time I want to come near you in the last weeks and stay away from home as long as possible!” Perrie shouted.

Because you are always picking up a fight when there is the tiniest possibility to do that.” Jade cried helplessly.

“That didn’t change in the last weeks. It’s going on like this for months! What’s so different now?” Perrie wondered.

“What’s different? I’m pregnant, that’s different! But I didn’t have the chance to tell you that!” She gave Perrie an angry look.

“What? Is that true, babe?” Perrie asked with a soft voice.

“Yes, it is.” Jade is still crying. “I wanted to tell you a few weeks ago, but you just argued with me every time we saw each other. And I was nearly sure, that you would say it was Leigh-Anne’s child instead of yours.”

“I’m sorry, Jadey. I’m really sorry for being like this. But please understand. I just love you so much, I couldn’t take it if you loved someone else.” Perrie whispered.

“It’s okay. I forgive you this one last time. But you have to promise me, that you trust me.” Jade stopped crying and wiped away her tears.

“I promise.” Perrie said affectionately then gave Jade a loving kiss.
