Before we knew it, MCR was invited to headline at Warped Tour '04! It was a very exciting time for all of us.

  Just a week before Warped Tour, we all went back home to Jersey for a bit. Luckily, the second day back home, June 20, was my birthday.

  We had a small gathering at my moms place, and later that night me and the guys and a few of my friends went out for drinks.

  My best friends from high school and college were there. Kristin, Jamia, Chantal, and Christa.

  I noticed immediately that Mikey and Kristin hit it off. So did Ray and Christa.

  Frank, Gerard and I talked to Jamia and Chantal.

  "You know, Gee, you should meet my friend Lindsey! She plays bass for my husbands band, and shes pretty cool." Chantal mentioned to Gerard. He nodded.

  I could tell that Gerard had a bit too much to drink. He was withdrawn from the group and spacing out.

  Jamia ended up having to leave early. Kristin and Mikey were still talking together, and so were Ray and Christa. That leaves Frank, Gerard and myself.

  "Oh, i just remembered something." Frank said to me.

  "What?" I asked him.

  "I have a special birthday present for you." He said with a smile and a slight blush.

  "Okay." I smiled back.

  Once we decided to leave, everyone went home besides me and Frank. We sat in the parking lot, smoking. Then he gave me my birthday present.

  It was in a medium sized box. I tore open the wrapping paper and opened that box, just to find another box. I opened that box to find another box. And another box. And another box. When i finally got to the last box, there was a carefully folded up piece of paper in it. I unfolded it and read it to myself.

  'Claudia, happy 29th! I hope this is a really good year for you. Enjoy it to the fullest! Especually considering that next year you'll officially be OLD. I'm sure this past year has been a great one, so hopefully this next year can be even better! Now lets get onto the sappy stuff... I really appreciate our friendship, Claudia. I notice little things about you that fill me with joy. We've been best friends for almost three years, and I figured we could take it to another level (if you're okay with that). So... What do you say to a pizza date?

  I folded up the note again and put it back in the box. I looked up at Frank with a smile. Our eyes met and we drew closer and closer to each other... Until our lips collided.

  "Does that answer your question?" I chuckled after out kiss.

  "Definitely." Frank said.

  Frank drove me back to my moms place. I was over-the-moon happy.

  I walked into the house to find Gerard and Mikey on the sofa watching a movie. I sat down next to them and they paused the movie.
