Chapter 2: Wedding Tragedy and a deal in Secret

As Roman tries to fight the headache that he is feeling, his best friend Alec comes through the door with a serious look on his face. Looking at his best friend, he is about to tell him not now when his sister comes into the room.

"Have you seen the news just now," Clarissa says to Roman.

"No, I am busy trying to marry the love of my life," replies Roman.

"Well the love of your life is screwing your best friend Tobias Macklemore and there is a porno to prove it," Clarissa says taking out her phone.

"What?" Roman says angrily as he grabs his sister's phone and looks at it.

"This isn't the only one Roman, it seems that Madison has been messing around with Tobias for a while now. I am not even sure if the baby that she is carrying is yours," says Alec who is rubbing his head.

Clarissa laughs before she says, "Do you want to know what else big brother? Madison is not here, the people who were supposed to help her get ready says that she never showed up. Therefore she ditches you on your Wedding day."

"Ditch, it's more like covering her behind," says Roman's older brother, Danny.

"I am not following," Alec says to Danny in a confused voice.

Picking up the remote, Danny turns on the television and on it is Madison and Tobias holding hands as they claim to be married. Seeing this Roman drops in his seat as he listens to what is happening before his eyes.

"So let me get this straight, Madison you and Tobias have been together for a long time, but because of the Rossi's threatening your family, you had to resort to being with Roman?" asks the television Host.

"Yes it is true, Tobias and I are in love but because the Rossi's are rich and powerful, I was forced to be with Roman. I care about Roman but I do not love him and I could not marry him knowing that the child I am carrying is Tobias. It was hard to be away from Tobias, so we would secretly meet up to make love," says Madison as she looks at Tobias lovingly.

"So Tobias, Roman is your best friend, wouldn't this be a slap in his face? Wouldn't he feel betrayed?" asks the Host.

Taking a deep breath, Tobias turns to the Host and answers her saying, "I know how this looks, but Roman is not a saint, he has done horrible things to Madison. The bruises that form on her body when he hits her, the way he makes her do things she doesn't want to do. Luckily the baby that she is carrying isn't his and we have a DNA test to prove it."

"How awful, so you two just got married this morning, Why?" asks the Host.

"Last night our sex tapes were released and I could not imagine what Roman or his family would do to me, so Tobias came up with the idea to get married early today. I already had the dress and everything so why not, besides there is nothing the Rossi's can do to me now," says Madison.

As they continue to watch the screen, Clarissa and Danny are on the phone trying to do damage control. They are losing Clients as well as magazines, newspapers and television shows having a field day with the newfound gossip.

Jumping up, Roman makes his way to his car and jumps in pulling off into traffic. Turning on the radio he continues to listen to the woman who he thought was his everything speak non-sense and lies to the gullible public. Taking out his phone he notices his father calling but before he can answer, a car comes out of nowhere and runs into him.

At the Hospital, everyone is in the waiting area hoping to hear some good news from the Doctor. A man comes out in scrubs and yells, "The Rossi family," causing everyone to jump up out of their seat.

"That's us," says Veronica Rossi with grief on her face.

"Roman has lost a lot of blood and will need a blood transfusion but that is not the problem. Roman needs a liver transplant, now he doesn't need the whole liver, just part of a healthy Donor," says the Doctor.

"Okay, we all can get tested, where do we go?" asks Danny in a serious tone.

Stretching his hand towards the door on the side of him the Doctor says, "Right through here, but let me be clear if none of you are a match we would have to do a public search and have people come here. Be warned we have already started to do that but after the social media outburst, our options are low because people do not want to help him.

Veronica drops down to the floor crying as her husband David embraces her. He gets up and makes his way out of the Hospital but stops when he hears his other son Ethan calling him.            "Where are you going? The family needs you now," says Ethan.

"I know but I need to see if I can gather some of my people to help Roman, we are losing not only clients but also the people who have stand beside us from the inception of the Rossi empire. Just like how I can not lose Roman, I can not lose our legacy, I will be back to take the test," says David.

Ethan watched as his father pulls out of the park in lot. Getting on the phone he calls someone who he knows will help. "Hey, I need you, no correction, Roman needs you. How fast can you make it to the Hospital?"

The next day, all the members of the Rossi family gather around to see if they were a match, that includes some close family friends. The doctor arrives with a smile on his face as he looks at the Rossi family.

"I am sorry to inform you that none of you were a match and we only had eight people come here to get tested," says the Doctor.

"So what the hell are you smiling for?" asks an angry Danny.

"As I am trying to say out of the eight, one of them is a perfect match and have already agreed to do it," says the Doctor.

"Oh, thank you, God," says Veronica.

Hugging his wife, David asks the Doctor, "Is it alright if we meet the Donor?"

Shaking his head no the Doctor says, "Sorry but the Donor wishes to remain anonymous, they do not want a reward, they just want Roman to get better."

"Whoever they are, tell them thank you and God bless you," Veronica says to the Doctor who nods then walks out the room to prep for surgery.

Ethan who sneaks out the door goes down the hall into another room. Opening the door he looks at the person whose back is turned towards him.

"So I guess you decided after all?" asks Ethan.

"Yes I did, but remember our deal, no one is to know that I did this, nor that I am the one who releases the evidence that helps the Rossi company. Deal?"

Ethan places his hands on the person's shoulders and kiss the top of their head. "Yes, we have a deal Mercedes," Ethan agrees.
