The Black Cat and His Princess

Chapter 3

"Oh ho kid!" Plagg exclaimed, "what was that back there!?"

Plagg stuffs Camembert in his little mouth with Adrien not replying to him. "Are ya goin' to answer me or what?" The little black cat said annoyingly.

Adrien stood at his window, staring at the night sky while thinking about what happened on Marinette's balcony. Why did he kiss her? Why would he when he loves ladybug?

"Plagg..?" He asked, "I'm...I'm so confused.."

"Yeah, me too. Why did you kiss your friend when you like ladybug?" Plagg said as he took a bite out of his cheese.

"Well that's just it plagg..! I-I don't know! I don't know what came over me..!" Adrien rests his head on the window seal in confusion.

"Is it because she said she..likes you?"

While his head was against his window he thought about Marinette.

At the balcony, all he was trying to do was see if she was okay, but it ended up being Marinette telling him her feelings for him. Then him kissing her. HIM kissing MARINETTE.

But, as he thought about what happened, all he could think about were her blue bell eyes. Usually when he would think about a girl it would be ladybug! This time..Marinette was in his head.

When he looked into her eyes he could see who she was and how beautiful she was. He's never seen eyes like hers before..

'Her eyes are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen..'
he thinks as he sighs.

The corners of his lips lift up to form a small smile.

"What are you smilin' about?" Plagg interjects.

Adrien pulls his head out of his thoughts, turning his whole body towards plagg abruptly. "N-nothing!" He says as a blush covers his cheeks.

Plagg squints and gives Adrien a big smirk. "Are you thinking about your blue haired friend..??"

"N-no" he says, causing his blush to turn red.

"You are!!"

"Be quiet Plagg!"

"Adrien loves his princess, Adrien loves his princess" he sings, dancing around in a circle.

Adrien walks sluggishly to his bed, falling onto it as he tries to sound out Plaggs annoying singing.

'Do I love Marinette..?'

'How am I going to talk to her after what happened?!'

What has he gotten himself into...

Next morning...

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Marinette lays in bed dead asleep, not realizing her alarm is going off. She stayed up most of the night thinking about last nights events. She couldn't process what happened!

While Marinette was stuck in her deep sleep Tikki turns the alarm off, placing her small hand on Marinette's cheek.

"Marinette, wake up." She says in a tired tone.

Marinette turns towards Tikki saying "just give me 5 more minutes..." her voice trails off.

"WAKE UP" Tikki yells.

She forces her upper body up off the bed, staring at Tikki with wide terrified eyes.

"You're going to be late for school if you don't get ready right now" Tikki says as she looks at the big purple bags under Marinette's eyes.
