The walk home was daunting. First, Chat kissed her last night without reason. Then, Adrien called her HOT! What would happen next? She had no clue. A lot of things were going on in her mind, things that she couldn't get out.
She didn't know why Chat Noir kissed her, she had no idea why Adrien was red in the face, and she didn't know why Adrien suddenly told her that she was..well..HOT!!! No one has ever said that to her before!
Marinette rushed home, blush covering her face from ear to ear. She was walking fast. She wanted to get home as soon as possible and shove her face into her pillow, just so that she could scream her thoughts out. All of this was to much. Way to much.
How was she going to face Chat or talk to Adrien (even though she couldn't talk to Adrien already)?
Walking fast and shoving the bakery doors open, she groaned as she laid her head in her hands. She could feel the heat of her blushed face. Her face was burning. Burning from frustration and a sudden compliment.
"Marinette?" A worried mom asked. Sabine walked over to her daughter with worry in her eyes. "Are you alright?"
She looked up to see her worried mom standing in front of her. "Oh! Uhhh.." she mumbled, trying to kick her thoughts out of her mind. "I-I'm okay mom..sorry..I'm just stressed"
"Stressed about what dear?" Sabine questioned, resting her hand on Marinette's back.
"Just...just school! Yeah! School and homework!" She scratched her head, anxiety filling up her head with more thoughts.
'I need to get these thoughts out of my head..just pour them out of my ears..or even my mouth'
Sabine smiled worriedly and stepped back, caressing Marinette's arm. "Okay sweetie...well.." Sabine continued, "if you would, could you watch the bakery for a little while? Your father and I have a few errands to run"
Marinette's face lit up.
'Maybe this will help me take my mind off of last night and Adrien'
"Yes! Definitely!" She said, beaming a smile.
Sabine smiled. "Thank you so much my sweet Marinette" she said, giving her a sweet hug and kiss on the cheek.
"We'll see you later honey" Tom said as him and Sabine walked out of the bakery doors.
"Au Revoir!" She waved excitedly.
This would be her second time watching the bakery whilst helping the customers with hungry stomachs. She loved it. She thought it felt nice being able to fill others stomachs with her father's amazing baked goods. Even she could stuff herself with food from the kitchen.
That was a perk to living there at the bakery. Stuffing yourself with croissants, cupcakes, cake, soufflés and macaroons. Simply put, spoiling yourself with sweetness.
Filled with excitement, she hopped behind the counter. Waiting for customers to roll in with an uncontrollable thirst for sweets.

"Hey" plagg whispered, tugging at Adrien's sleeve, "this kwami needs cheese"
Adrien helplessly rested his head on the head of his sofa. Without noticing, he reached his hand in his pocket, grabbing Camembert and tossing the smelly cheese to his little friend.
Plagg munched on it, getting cheese crumbs on the seat of the sofa with Adrien paying now mind to it.
His mind was stuck on how he embarrassed himself in front of Marinette. He didn't mean to ramble on like that! He didn't even mean to speak his mind to Marinette!
