The wind, blowing strong, calmed down to a smooth breeze. Chat kept his gloved hands on Marinette's waist, keeping her safe from falling off the over 900 feet tall Tower the two of them were standing atop of.

His hands gripped tighter on her waist as she asked him what he was wanting to ask. She was still looking up at him adorably, almost too adorably because it made Chat feel giddy with love. But even though he felt love, he was as well feeling extremely nervous. It wasn't because of what was going on, it was because of what he wanted to ask, or more well put, show.

He's gotten to know Marinette so well over the several months of him visiting her on her balcony. They became really good friends. Scratch that, best friends. If you asked him about Marinette, asked him about her interests or loves, he could tell you all 100 and number them off with his fingers one by one. He could tell you many things about her and tell you that he listens to every single word she says.

He loved everything she had to say.

He also grew very close to her, to the point where he wanted to be around her at all times. He wanted to sit close to her or lay with her. He wanted to hold her and snuggle her in his arms. He wanted to kiss her to his hearts content.

He also trusted her with all his heart. With his everything.

So he wanted to reveal himself to her. Show her who he is behind his black mask and green cat eyes. Show her that he is hers. Her kitty. Her Chat Noir. Her Adrien Agreste.

He was just hoping that she wouldn't be disappointed. Dissatisfied. Unhappy. That was the reason why he was extremely nervous. He didn't want her to resent him. Not at all.

     He loves her.

And it's all because he protected her from Evillistrator. Because of one kiss. Because of her eyes and precious, breathtaking smile-

"Chat?" Marinette spoke, catching Chat out of his deep thoughts. He blinked and his face flushed to a deep red. He was staring at her that whole time. A nervous grin crept onto his face, making him chortle. Marinette hummed a laugh and she smiled at him, making him blush even more. "You okay, kitty? Cat got your tongue?" She chuckled and winked, feeling happy with her use of the cat pun that Chat had used once before.

"Uh-uhm," Chat stuttered, feeling warm as his temples felt wet from his nervous sweat. He looked down at his hands that were resting on her waist and looked back up to her eyes. "Um..." He brushed his thumb against the bone of her hips as he tried to figure out what he was going to do, going to ask. How he was going to show her who he was.

The first thing he needed to do was get out of the open and get to a place that wasn't so revealing and out in the open. Sure, they are up high from the ground, high enough for people below to not see, but there are still planes flying by and News helicopters going about. So Chat held her close as he turned her around. Marinette wrapped her arms around under his arms, linking her arms around his shoulders and holding onto him as best as she could.

Chat vaulted the both of them to a different story of the Eiffel Tower, which was bare of any people. It was also the perfect spot for him to show her who he was. He set her down on the floor and next to the railing. Marinette clasped her hands into the railing as she turned around to look out at the view from where they were standing. Chat stood behind, looking to where she was looking, and then looked at her.
