Hey, loves! I'm so sorry for the wait!! Aaand that this chapter is short... But I promise that the next chapters will get more interesting, intense, dramatic, and definitely romantic (in a more mature way 😉). So be ready for that! I also hope that you'll like it. I'm trying to make this story not as cringy and cheesy as possible 😅

ANYWAY! Enjoy the chapter! Au revoir❤️

It was close to 6 AM when Chat woke up. He felt well rested—it being the first time in forever for him to actually get a good nights sleep. Him sleeping next to Marinette gave him the warmth and comfort he needed. He scooted himself closer to her, keeping himself within her sleep cloud, brushing his hands down her side to resting on the small of her back. She moved slightly, her left hand resting on his pecks and her right laying on his neck, and a little hum slipped from her throat. It made Chat open his eyes to look down at her.

The sunrise shined through the balcony hatch, just enough to be placed perfectly on her angelic face. He felt his face grow warm, seeing as shadows laid underneath her lashes and her face was so angelic. The chance to be laying next to a beauty like her was probably the best thing that has ever happened to him. Getting the chance to wake up next to her and feel her slow and soft breathes as she dreamed was a huge gift. He would do anything to do this every night. To be able to sleep next to her without his-

His eyes looked away from her and widened slightly. He felt her back. He couldn't feel any leather... nothing blocking his hands from actually touching her. He looked down at his hands and that's when he realized that he had de-transformed in his sleep. He lifted his head, still keeping his hands on Marinette and feeling drowsy from sleep, and looked around for Plagg, thinking back on if he brought cheese or not. Did he forget? He doesn't remember grabbing cheese before he left...

Oh crap.

Adrien flinched when he heard little snores sounding from behind him. He twisted his head enough to look behind him and found his little black blob snoring with his mouth wide open. He sighed and dropped his head back down on the pillow. He turned back to Marinette, looking down at her sleeping face, and smiled lovingly at her. He knew he had to leave soon, because it's a school day, but he couldn't help but stay a little bit longer. Now that he knew he wasn't in his suit, she felt even warmer. If he could, he would hold her all day.

He pushed his nose in her hair, getting her strawberry scent stuck in his nose and throat. He wanted to kiss her so badly. It was very tempting to get her taste back in his mouth while he hovered over her and held her waist. And like last night, he would've tried to take it further. But only if his nerves wouldn't go wack.

"Mm..." Marinette mumbled. It caught Adrien's attention, making him open his eyes and look down at her. She pulled herself in closer to him, and he blushed when she wrapped a leg over his and brushed her fingers up his neck to the ends of his hair. Adrien's blush grew hotter. He couldn't help it. She was too cute. And the position was... something.

His hand brushed back up her back, almost tantalizingly slow because he wanted to keep that tingling feeling he had in his hand and trailing throughout his entire body. His hand stopped on the area where her shoulder and neck met. He slipped his fingers under the spaghetti strap of her top, feeling the softness of her milky white skin. She felt amazing without his gloves blocking the way.

He was fully awake now and... active, making him feel the same way as he did last night. He wanted to touch her just as bad, kiss her just as bad, hear her just as bad, and definitely wanted to see how she reacted to everything he did to her just as bad.

He moved his lips down to her forehead and planted his lips there, above her brows. He kissed her gently down to her cheek, hearing her hum, and kissed down to her jawline. Then, he pressed one kiss on the corner of her mouth before he laid his head back down and gazed at her face. He brushed his thumb against the skin on her shoulder and then pulled his hand away, to get up from the bed. It felt really hard to just get up and leave.

Today was a school day, meaning that school was in a couple hours. He sat up carefully, keeping in mind that Marinette was still sleeping, and he didn't want to wake her up. He looked to Plagg, who was still snoring with his mouth wide open, and poked his cheek.

"Plagg?" Adrien said, his voice in a whisper. He poked his cheek again, shaking the spot where Plagg was a bit. "Plagg, wake up."

"Ugh...," Plagg groaned. His green, vibrant eyes flickered open and glared at Adrien. "Lemme sleep, you golden idiot." Adrien sighed.

"Sorry, but that's a no. And a no to that name." He picked Plagg up by his foot, making him wake up and shake about.

"Hey!"

"Shhh...!" Adrien quickly quieted Plagg. He pointed his head at Marinette, making Plagg groan quietly. He shook from Adrien's hold and sat down on his hand instead.

"Ugh... alright. Where's my cheese? We can't leave without my cheese," he whined. "You drained me out last night. Oh! And speaking of last night, what the heck, kid?!" Plagg scolded Adrien in his scratchy voice, though he kept it low.

"Can we... not talk about this right now? Hm? We need to go. If we don't get back, Nathalie and father will notice. They'll most likely send my bodyguard out for me, too. Don't want that now, do we?" He nodded, his brows raised in question. Plagg sighed and shook his head. "And about the cheese... I don't have any on me."

"Seriously??"

"I know! But maybe there is something down there," he pointed down at Marinette's desk, "and if there's not, then I'm sure Marinette won't mind if you grab something from the kitchen down stairs."

Plagg rolled his eyes before floating off of Adrien's hand and flying down to the desk. When he got down there, he looked all over. In the drawers and cupboards. He went through the last drawer and stopped when he saw the small ladybug sleeping in there. Tikki. His eyes went wide and he quickly left the drawer. He made sure to be careful as to not draw attention from Adrien. He went down to the kitchen, instead.

Not long after, Adrien was able to transform into his cat-self when Plagg chomped down on a cookie. He'd also whined a bit about how he couldn't find any Camembert, annoying Adrien, and explained how nothing is better than, as he put it: "the king of all cheese-kings and all those wannabe-kings." He quickly called his transformation right before the small cat continued whining.

Before Chat left, he wrote down a little note to Marinette. He wrote it down on a blank piece of paper he saw on the desk and with a pink pen she kept in her pencil jar. When he was done, he folded the paper in half and wrote 'To my sweet purrincess' on the front. Then, he did one last thing before he left. He pressed a kiss on her forehead, brushing her bangs to the side, and whispered, "see you at school," in her ear.
