Real Life

Parker was nervous. He never got nervous. Hannah and Drew had just left, and that meant Gareth was almost there. He honestly didn't know what he was going to say. He didn't know how he was going to do it.
"Hey, I'm here for Parker." He heard that voice tell Sam, the cashier. Sam just pointed to Parker and went on the next customer.

"Hey Gareth." Parker said, smiling.

"Hey Parker, so wanna tell me?" Gareth replied.

"I don't know man." Parker sighed.

"Please." Gareth says, giving Parker the puppy dog face.

"Ugh fine, come around back though." Parler caved in.

Gareth simply nodded and went around the counter and through the employee only door. He had been back here before, him amd Parker usually just hung out there.

The two boys walked through the hall, finding the break room.

"Okay so tell me, please." Gareth pleaded taking a seat on the couch.

"I'll give you a few hints, then you can guess." Parker says, closing the door.

Gareth just nodded ready to learn who his best friend was infatuated with.

"Okay, so he has the most gorgeous eyes. He loves superhero movies and sitcoms. He is a huge dork who loves cats but is allergic." Parker rambles.

Gareth just listens, trying to figure it out. Was it Carter? He had some pretty eyes,and loved sitcoms. But he hated cats. Was it Sam? He didn't know much about Sam, but he knew he had Emerald eyes and owned 2 cats.

"Hello earth to Gareth?" Parker joked.

"Oh um sorry, so your crush. Is it Carter?" He asks, hoping the answer was no.

Parker started laughing. "Your kidding right.I could never like him."

"So it's Sam."

"What no! For one he's not gay and for two he's definitely not my type." Parker said

"Well then who is, because those are the only two boys you know besides Awsten and I. And there is no way it's one of us" He rambled.

"Well my crush has blonde hair and an obsession with DC. He once tried to fight a fish. His smile can light up a room." Parker said, looking at Gareth.

"But that sounds like me-" Gareth says but before he can get the words out of his mouth, Parker kisses him.
The kiss progresses and soon Gareth is in Parker's lap.
Gareth's hand roaming Parker's hear.

"Hey Parker, Sam said you were-" They here a girl say as she opens the door. Anna stands there horrified. She never wanted to see her brother dry humping someone.

"Anna! Why are you here early?" Parker asked pulling away from Gareth.

"Well Awsten wanted to come a little earlier, so I wanted to surprise you." She says.

"Oh um is he here?" Parker asked.

"No not yet, I got here a tad earlier." She says.

"Okay,um." Parker says, embarrassed.

"So I'll just be out here. You two better hurry though. Awsten will be here soon." She says closing the door.

"Um that was new." Gareth joked.

"Yeah, um. So let's head out there before Anna tells the whole cafe." Parker says standing up.

They both walk out and head to the front of the store. Awsten arrived, he seems to be in a conversation with Anna.

"Hey Awsten." Parker says walking up to the pair, Gareth behind him.

"Hey Parker, this place is sick." Awsten says motioning to the cafe.

"Thanks, um this," he says pointing to Gareth," is Gareth, you know him."

"Hey Gareth, it's nice to finally meet you." Awsten says putting his arm out for Gareth to shake. Gareth takes his hand and shakes it.

"It's nice to meet you too." Gareth says.

"Okay well as fun as this is I have to go and get back to work." Parker says, breaking the awkward silence.

"Oh crap, it's already 2! I have a test in 10 minutes." Gareth says. "Um see you later Anna, Awsten."

He runs out the door but is back a second later to give Parker a big hug and whispering 'you have some explaining to do when I get home.'

"Well, we'll be over here." Anna says pulling Awsten to a table in the corner.
