Anna knew she fucked up. She knew that she was a bitch. She had hurt her brother. She had chose Awsten over Parker. Anna knew it was a mistake ,but she did it anyway.
She walked up to Meraki Cafe at exactly 11am. She waltzed in as if she owned the place. Of course she didn't, she hadn't been here in almost a year.
"Hey Sam, is Parker here?" She asked the 19 year old.
"Oh, Anna I haven't seen you in a while. He is in his office with Gareth." Sam replied looking up from his phone.
"Office?" Anna questioned.
"Oh yeah forgot you haven't been here. Um Parker kinda owns this place now." Sam said.
"He owns the place? How is that even possible?" Anna asked bewildered.
"He bought it from the previous owner around Christmas last year. Gareth helped him buy it too." Sam explained.
"Oh wow, um I'll hust head back there now if you don't mind." Anna said walking behind the counter.
She slowly walked the hall looking for Parker's office. Once she found it she knocked in the door and waited for a response.
"Sam, what is it? I'm busy." She heard her brother say. Oh how she missed his voice.
"Um it's not Sam." She replied. She then heard whispering and shuffling on the other side of the door. The door was soon opened and she saw her brother.
"Anna..." Parker said, Anna could hear the sadness in his voice.
"Parker, please hear me out." Anna pleaded.
"So after 10 months of nothing you finally want to talk." He said tears already coming.
"Please Parker." Anna said.
"You have 10 minutes." He said opening his door.
His office was beautiful. There was artwork on the walls, it was obvious Gareth had painted all of it. The desk was glass and he had two bookshelves. The office screamed Parker.
"Can Gareth leave? Like no offense but I kinda only wanted to talk to you." Anna said looking over at Gareth, who was reading a book.
"Actually I want him here Anna." Parker replied sitting down beside Gareth.
"Okay whatever." Anna said.
"Babe, it's fine okay. I'm here for you." Anna heard Gareth whisper to Parker.
"Parker, I wanted to apologize for being so childish. I understand what I did was wrong. Your my brother and Awsten is just Awsten. He isn't special. I don't know what came over me. I know that choosing him over you was wrong. I understand what he said was wrong. But he was hurt. He loved you and didn't love him. I'm not saying that gives him the right to say what he did say. I know me not talking to you was extremely childish and rude. I love you so much. Please forgive me Parker." Anna pleaded.
Parker was a crying mess. He was hugging Gareth tightly.
"You think that after 10 months of you not being here I would immediately forgive. You hurt me so fucking much Anna. I cried into Gareth's arms for 6 months after you left me. You are my sister and you just left me." Parker cried.
"Parker please understand im so sorry." Anna said.
"Anna you hurt me so much. Please understand that. I'm forgiving you because I love you and I missed you on my birthday last year." Parker said.
"Oh my god thank you Parker." Anna said ." I love you."
Anna walked over to Parker and hugged him.
"Um that was sweet and all, but we we're sorta doing something before you walked in." Gareth said breaking the silence.
"Okay fair enough, I gotta get to work anyway." Anna said getting up.
"I love you Anna. And tell the others I forgive them." Parker says.
"Love you too bro, and of course." Anna says leaving.
