16 year old Thomas Edison *yeah yeah it's the most used last name what ever* started his walk to his friend Aris's house because his friends were having a sleepover.He was very excited since ever since summer started he hadn't seen any of his friends not even Newt his, best friend, he always loved spending time with Newt he just felt so happy and safe with him.He marched down the stairs and his mother stopped him "did you get everything"she said cleaning her hands on her apron "yes mom no need to worry" Thomas said with a little laugh.His sister Brenda came bounding down the stairs

jumping into her brothers arms "why don't you hang out with me,Sonya,Jeff,Zart,and Alby" she said with pleading eyes "and be a fifth wheel with Alby no thank" he said dropping her to the floor "your no fun" she whined "okay okay you two time to leave"what your kicking us out" the siblings said giving a look towards their mother"you know what I mean now come here" she said pulling the siblings into a hug. They both left with a smile on their faces Thomas walked Brenda down to the street her girlfriend Sonya lived on. He debated going down the street to see if Newt was home but knowing Sonya if she had friends over he would have been kicked out of the house awhile ago especially since Brenda was 20 minutes late so after he gave his sister a hug he left not knowing this was the last time he would see her or his mom alive. He continued his walk toward Aris's house. Aris lived a few blocks away he walked past a allyway when suddenly someone grabbed him "OH MY GOD" he screeched then spun around he was met with beautiful brown eyes "what the hell Newt" Thomas said clutching his chest as if his heart was going to pop out of his chest Newt on the other hand was clutching his stomach laughing his head off " you should h-have seen y-your face" he said crying from his laughing "bloody hell Tommy your going to be the death of me" he said skipping around him. How Thomas missed the days when Newt could walk well. "Where did you even come from" Thomas asked in disbelief "up there" Newt pointed towards a falling apart tree house about ten feet off the ground "good god Newt you jump from that height you might really hurt yourself also how did you not get twenty million splinters in you" Newt rolled his eyes giggling still "come off it Tommy I'm fine" Newt noticed how Thomas's face fell slightly "come on mate let's get going" Newt said clapping him on the back then putting his hands behind his head "they aren't going to wait for us forever you know" he said turning to walk towards Aris's house Thomas trailing closely behind.
Author's note I am basing Newt's limp on my own limp so if it doesn't seem fully correct that is why also there will be some swearing and violence *duh*
