LALISA POV,

My confident self went out the room strutting with my so famous leather jacket paired with white crop top and black jeans.

I always felt so proud and confident wearing these set of clothes. Yes, they're simple but I do believe in simplicity is beauty. In fact, my charisma can't be ignored.

I sat on the living room waiting for the bossy brat to exit from the dungeon.

I was dazed and confused sitting there but I was cut off from my thoughts when I saw Jennie in those gorgeous red dress filled with polka dots pattern. I was mesmerized for a bit.

So I stood up and just directly went outside without even saying anything to distract myself. I was speechless, totally speechless.

I turned the engine on and waited for her to come in. I was confused when she sat on the passenger seat beside me, which is very unlikely for her to do so. She always sits at the back.

I looked at her confused.

"What?" She replied sharply.

I gulped. I don't know why it's happening but I can feel the beat of my heart reaching through my throat.

I cleared my throat and looked away.

"Where are we up to?" I asked, not looking at her.

"I don't know, movies?" She replied not knowing where to go as well.

"As you wish Ma'am" I sarcastically said. She just eyed me, dang if looks could kill.

We continued driving with no one talking at all, until minutes later we finally arrived at the ginormous mall.

"Don't you think it's too early for a movie?" I asked.

"Well, what do you suggest MA'AM" she fired back.

I almost laughed but hell, good thing I was born to act. I deserve an oscar for holding and keeping it this far.

"Grabbing some lunch would be nice." I suggested.

She raised a brow.

"I didn't know robots gets hungry too." She asked which made me uncomfortable. I didn't know what to say.

My suggestion really  fucked me up.

I sighed internally. I just shrugged and left her.

Fuck. Was that the right thing to do?

Maybe not.

She didn't say anything and just followed me. As we were strolling around to find a place to eat, a certain restaurant caught my attention. It was the popular Thai restaurant that my mom used to bring me. I smiled sadly.

Hold it in, Lisa. You promised mom that you'll be strong.

I said to my own thoughts.

I'm glad that my favorite restaurant was here. It did not only made me happy but it also brought up the memories with my mom. Which made me happier but sad at the same time.

I turned around just to see Jennie busy on her phone.

"We should try this place. I looked it up and ratings are high." I lied.

She nodded but she was too immersed on her phone that she didn't even look at me.

"Great. Let's go." I said as I held her arm, pulling her inside. I got used of doing that, since I always used to drag my mom inside due to undeniable excitement.
