"mel? i'm home, baby." you called after closing the front door and locking it.
"melissa?" you called again. you put up the groceries you came back with and went into search for your girlfriend.
you figured she was asleep, but when you opened the bedroom door, you saw her sobbing into her pillow.
"princess, what's wrong?" you rubbed her back, making her look up at you.
you wiped some of the hot tears running down her cheeks. that simple act of love made her burst into more tears.
"oh love, come here." you soothingly cuddled her in your arms and ran your fingers in her hair. "now, what's bothering you sweetheart?" you asked softly.
"i just had a bad day on set today." she sniffed a little. you kissed another tear that slowly fell from her eye.
"i'm sorry baby. let's order some pizza and potstickers and hang out for the rest of he night, yeah?" she nodded and snuggled into your chest.
the two of you spend your night eating pizza and potstickers and watching movies. after the third movie, melissa fell asleep on your chest.
you fell asleep shortly after, knowing that your girl was safe with you.
