Wendy's POV

I'm not really enjoying my time in Neverland anymore, but I don't want to grow up either... I know my brothers are having a good time here and I also want to keep them happy... But my heart aches whenever I see Peter... His smile hurts me, he seems to have so much fun while I'm feeling bad about myself... It's very annoying.... So I need to keep myself busy. I would often sneak out to train my sword fighting skills... I didn't want to train with Peter because it would distract me... Besides I'm not even sure he would take this training serious...

I'm not perfect at sword fighting, but I'm improving slowly. That's a good thing, otherwise I might be useless... I need to be able to defense myself against enemies, like Hook (although I'm not really sure if I should consider him as an enemy, he's Peter's enemy for sure). I haven't heard much about Hook these days.. Even Peter is saying it's weird that he isn't doing something bad... It makes me wonder where he is... He sure isn't at the same spot where I last saw his ship... I almost feel like searching for him, but that would be weird.. I sighed and continued training some more.

"You're doing well although your angle seems a little off." A voice said behind me. I turned around and saw Hook standing there.
"I'm not really good at it yet... I only had one training with Peter..." I mumbled.
He chuckled and shook his head. "Probably not a serious training, was it?" He said and then I shrugged.
"I don't know, that was the first time I held a real sword in my hands." I said and then he nodded, kind of looking at my when he put on a thinking face.
"I see..." He mumbled and then he walked over to me, grabbing his sword. "How about I help you with your sword fighting?" He asked me, making me blink in surprise.
"Really..? But why would you help me?"
"Why not? It's not like I hurt you before, did I? You can trust me, besides I'm a pirate, I'm skilled with swords and other weapons." He said with a grin.
I was wondering if he was serious about training me... It sounds tempting, but a pirate shouldn't be trusted... What if he suddenly kills me...?

"I won't kill you if that's what you think, other wise I could have done that earlier, right?" He said and then I thought for a moment.
"Sure... But it might be one of your plans..." I mumbled and then he chuckled.
"Well, didn't I offer you to become a crew member a few days ago, dear Wendy?" He said and then I nodded. "Well, then why should I kill you? You never turned my offer down, that's a sign that you're considering to join the crew." He said with a smirk and then I rolled my eyes.
"...Well.... Alright, if you want to train me I'll take that offer, but I'm not sure if I'll become a pirate." I told him seriously, looking into his eyes and he nodded.
"Well, keep thinking about it, I'm sure you'll get bored of Pan because of the way he thinks." He said and then he began to help me.

He had brought me to a place where Peter wouldn't come unless it was needed and then he taught me some techniques he knew. He would often stand behind me and help me hold the sword the right way. He also helped me with standing the right way, so he often held me to position me.
I could feel a small blush appearing on my face, but it was not like I would really show it to him. Besides... What would he do if he sees me blush? He could think about things I wouldn't dare to think about....! So I kept trying to be cool and continued to train the best I could. He often nodded to me when I do something right and he would tell me when I needed to do something a little more differently. I was really listening to him because I wanted to do it right.

"Alright, I think that was enough for today." He suddenly said after a while and then I blinked.
"Already..? But it's going quite well." I said and then he chuckled.
"It takes more than one day to learn techniques, although you're learning it quickly." He said and then he walked over to me.
I sighed and then pouted a bit. Hook chuckled and then he patted my head with his hand, making me blush. I looked down to hide it, but Hook gently lifted my chin with his hook.
"You don't have to hide it from me..." He whispered and I kept quiet, not feeling like responding to him about my flushed face. He smiled gently.
"Are you embarrassed, dear Wendy?" He asked.
"Why would I be embarrassed..?" I muttered, making him chuckle again.
"Are you sure? You're cheeks are quite red." He said, definitely just playing with me.
"So? Maybe I just feel very warm because of the training.." I mumbled.
"That could be, although I doubt it." He said with a smirk.
