"What do ya mean this prick is gonna play for us!?" Crash shouted putting a cigarette out on the bottom of his shoe.
I told them everything, how Tate had been abandoned years ago and how he was living alone in poverty. How Peter and him were good friends and Tate was just a hopeless guy trying to survive.
"Besides, we needed rhythm guitar and now since that's all Peter can do, Tate can play lead."
"I'm not having him, if he thinks he can barge in here after being so awful to all of you for years and just assume he can join this family, he's so wrong." Sarah stated.
"I'm with her man, he's kinda been a douche." Vince agreed.
Playing with his lighter, accidentally setting one of his drumsticks on fire, Crash spoke up once again. "You guys are the reason I'm not reckless and irresponsible anymore. We can't have a rotten egg spoil us all."
Sarah choked through a cry. "Tate or the band."
"Guys come on the show is in 3 days..."
I hung my head low as my best friend, his girlfriend, and my critically insane friend walked out of my garage, got in Vince's car, and drove away.
"You better be one hell of a guitar player man." I shoved the words into Tate's face with more hopelessness than ever before.
