The game goes on and my eyes just keep cutting over to Luke. If he feels anything about that kiss then he certainly is hiding it well. He has actually caught me looking once and gave me the holy grail of smirks. It was so embarrassing. I haven't moved from Ashton's side since.
The other girl who was talking to Luke gets dared to flash everyone - her name is Natalie - and we find out Ashley has a tattoo on her ass.

I'm dreading the time it will be my turn again. "Scarlett! Truth or dare?" Ashley asks gaining my attention, I open my mouth trying to decide between truth or dare but before I can say anything a cheer goes up through the entire house. One of the girls at the party has taken off all her clothes and is running out the back door butterball ass naked flailing her arms and whooping. A big splash is heard and more cheers go up from outside. She must have jumped in the pool. Our little group gets up and goes to watch the show. Only Calum and Natalie stay seated with me.

"Well. I guess that ends that." Calum announces wit a clap of his hands. He gets up off the floor and sits next to me on the couch. I nod and down the rest of my drink. Ashton is the first one back. He's dripping wet and has the sloppiest drunken grin on his face. He lets out a howl and raises up his arm displaying the bikinni top clutched in his fist. Then he sways and falls forward on his face.

Calum and I exchange looks. "We could just leave him there." he suggests shaking his head.

I nod. "Tempting." I say as I let out an exasperated sigh, "But we should probably take him to his room."

"I guess." Calum grumbles. we both stand up and Calum bends down, picks him up, and drapes one arm over his shoulder. I rush to the other side and support his other arm. We start to weave through the drunken masses of the teenagers. It's pretty hard considering the limited amount of space we have due to all the bodies pressed together and grinding on each other. And if I thought getting through the first floor was hard the stairs were hell. We had to lug a knocked out Ashton up every single step. Sure, Calum does most of the work but by the time we get to the landing my arms are screaming. But we manage to scuffle up the stairs and down a few hallways until Calum opens up a dark wood door.

"This is his room?" I ask.

"Yeah" Calum mumbles. We shuffle over to the fourposter bed and lay Ashton down. I take a seat on the corner of the plush bed. His comforter is a deep red. I absentmindedly run my hand over the soft fabric. Calum is standing about a foot away from the door, arms crossed over his chest, and a brooding expression on his face. For a second I just study him. How his slightly wavy hair just about falls in his face, the blond highlights in his dark hair lighting up everything. The hard angle of his jaw. He's pretty handsome. "Yeah whatever this is stupid, I'm going downstairs." he fums, more to himself than to me. He turns to leave.

"Hey, wait!" I call out. He turns back to me with his eyebrows raised, silently asking me whats up. I look to the corner of the room, as if what I'm trying to say is hung up on one of the car posters over there. I look back at him and fumble for a while. I end up staring at his feet. All the while he's just standing there waiting for me to speak. "Erm, It was good. Um. What you did, helping me I mean. Or well helping Ashton or um, Thanks." I say looking up at his face finally. He has an amused smirk decorating his features.

He gives a small chuckle before saying, "It wasn't a big deal. Me and him-" he jerks his head towards Ashton, "-we're brothers. Frat brothers. He parties too hard and someone's got to look out for him." I nod my head In agreement.

"Yeah. That's good of you." I say nodding my head, "Do you think you can drive me home? I'm pretty buzzed." I say, looking up at him again.

He just shakes his head and chuckles at the floor. "No Scarlett, I've drunk more than you." I just nod my head. "Come back down and party with me." He says with a smile, I laugh at that.
