All was calm in the village...my family was happy even with some missing pieces...all that went to hell...all because of those disgusting monsters...GOBLINSSSS!
(I do not own Goblin Slayer. Pictures, some of the plot, and characters that aren't mine...
(A/N: Just going to give a warning that this chapter is going to get pretty gruesome. This is your only warning!)
(Y/N) POV
I wake up to my door opening and I see my sister with a tray of food. I straighten up in bed as she hands me the tray of food.
Sister: "How do you feel?"
I stretch out my arms and I don't feel any pain.
(Y/N): "Wow that stuff was amazing"
Sister: "Well don't be reckless now. Those things are pretty expensive."
I nod before she walks to the door frame and I slowly get up to my feet without grandpa's cane. I take a few steps before falling but was caught by my sister.
Sister: "Just take it easy at first."
I nod before she hands me my cane and and we walk down to the living room.
(Time skip to evening)
We were eating dinner at the table when we heard spine chilling screams from outside our house. We all stopped eating; my mother stood up from her chair to go look outside.
Mom: "What's going on?"
She looks out at the window to see complete mayhem.

She quickly closes the curtains and turns off the lanterns.
Mom: "Ok sweeties, I want you down in the basement and stay very quiet ok? Mommy and your sister have something to take care of." She says with a smile but I can see the fear in her face. I slowly get up with the help of my cane.
(Y/N): "I can help too mom"
Mom: "No, you take care of your brother. We don't have much time." She kisses me and my brother on the cheek before shoving us into the basement and closing the door.
(Y/N): "NOOOO!" I scream slamming into the basement door.
My brother and I look through the holes in the door to see 10 or even more goblins flood our house. I look out where the door used to be to see why my mom was scared.
(Y/N): 'Why...why our village...?'
I watch in horror as my sister and mother aimlessly swing at the little green monsters. It wasn't long before they overpowered them. Something snapped in me as I see the little shits tear my mother's and sister's dress off. The pure terror on their faces while the goblin's eyes were full of lust. What finally pushed me over the edge was when I saw that the goblin had the shield that I made. It was the same goblins from before. I stand up but felt a tug on my sleeve...it was my brother with tears in his eyes.
Chibi Slayer: "(Y/N)...where are you going?"
(Y/N): "Stay here..." I coldly reply "I'm gonna go take out the trash." I shake him off me and ram into the basement door; flinging it off it's hinges. I fall on the floor with my cane beside me...but it was different...a small glow was radiating off a small piece of it. I pull it towards me and to my surprise it's a sword. I smile as I think to myself.
(Y/N): 'Even in death you still protect this family grandpa...now it's my turn to protect it.'
As the goblins spread my mother's and sister's legs I slash the one goblin near my sister, killing it. I then glare at the goblin near my mother with MY shieldon his disgustingly hunched over back. I scream at him which made him stagger a bit before tackling him
(Y/N): "YOU WILL NOT HURT MY FAMILY!!" I begin to pummel the goblin's face to a pulp.
I pick up my cane/sword and slice open two more goblins.
'Shit! This blade is dulling quick!' I put the sword in a lance position and skewer 3 goblins, ramming the sword into the wall. 'Think (Y/N)! THINK!' Just then an idea popped into my head.
(Y/N): "Brother! Get my ax! NOW!" I scream at him so he gets out of his frozen state. But no matter how much I screamed he stayed stuck. With valuable time wasted 6 goblins tackled me to the floor. Kicking and clawing at my clothes I still called for my brother.
(Y/N): "Brother! Snap out of it and help me! PROTECT YOUR FAMILY!"
My words finally came through to him as he grabs the bloodied shield and rams into the dog pile, allowing me to break out and grab the wood chopping ax.
I chop a few more goblins down as blood and heads littered the sky. I was going to help my mother and sister until I heard a scream.
Chibi Slayer: "(Y/N)! Help Me!!!" I look to see my brother smashing a goblin against the wall but the goblin is tugging at his hair and a claw cutting his face. I take a deep breathe to calm my shaking hands as I lift the ax over my head
(Y/N): 'Please gods...let me hit the right target' I chuck the ax and...
3...
2...
1...
And with a roll of the dice will the odds be in (Y/N)'s favor or will his brother's blood forever be on our young warrior's hands. Will (Y/N) make it out of this terrible nightmare with his family or will he be the only survivor of his once peaceful village. Find out in the next chapter, Power Awakened: Rise of the Green Moon.
