A big question that Star, Marco, and Gabriela had was how did Gabi get these powers? When Gabi was being examined after being rescued the doctors noticed a weird purple mark on her wrist that almost looked like a bite mark. It was nothing like the doctors have ever seen. It wasn't a snake, spider, fish, monster, or anything. A search party was sent out on that lake where Gabi was found and came back with a some kind of alien like creature with the same kind of teeth that matched the bite on Gabi's wrist.
It was green, slimy, and overall hideous and it had purple saliva that matched that DNA from the bite. The FBI examined it and determined that it was definally not from Earth or Mewni this was alien. After examining the creature they had determined that it had extreme levels of radioactivity to where it can alter DNA to a whole new degree. The cheek marks they have not been able to figure out could this be a creature that was created by a queen of the past that just was destroyed by the Magic or was this an alien.
No one could tell what this is, then Gabi's maternal grandmother Moon searched through and found that this was a creation of the first settlers of Mewni after Glossaryck gave them magic. It was a failed spell and it evolved into some kind of weird alien like creature and it didn't disappear with the magic which only raised more questions...
