Chapter Nine - Fighting Love

"Isn't that the newly released game that you're playing?" Ask a voice.

Surprise she almost drop her game console. She look up from the game, annoyed at the interuption only to find herself inches away from the Prince Shiroyuki face.

Spontaneously, her hand form a fist and before she realized what she was doing, the Prince was already on the ground clutching his stomach.

"I'm...I'm sorry! Are you alright?" Cried her in panic. "I'm fine. You're quite strong for a girl." Said Riku. "I'm really sorry. It's just that your face is a little too close and I was just surprise." Blush her.

"Then I should be the one saying sorry. I was a little excited actually. The game you're playing, it is from the Hevn Battle Goddess series, right? Its my favourite game. I think I have played it a thousand times already." Grin Riku.

"But this one was released just two days ago. How was it possible that you had played it a thousand times?" Ask her curious.

" The perks of being a Prince and a Game Master." Shrug him."You haven't told me your name." Said Riku. "Oh, its Nao." Told her blushing.

"Hironori Naoko, the General daughter. No wonder you are so good at combact games." Grin Riku when they meet again a few weeks later.

"Now that you're one of the candidate for my Future Queen, I have an excuse to hole up in my room and play against you."

"That is inappropriate behaviour! In no way I would be in the same room with you, especially when the said room is your bedroom!" Said Nao blushing red. "But its comfortable. When you're tired, you could rest on the bed." Told him.

"What?! Riku! You're not taking this seriously!" Cried her angry. "Oh? Will it be your bedroom then? I want to see your collection." Said Riku.

A moment later the maid found the Prince on the floor clutching his painful stomach. "The Prince ate something bad." Explain Nao. The maid nodded leaving the tea set on a nearby table.

"How long are you going to lay there and fake the hurt? You promise me a game match." Said Nao crossing her arm.

Hearing her words, the Prince burst out laughing still clutching his stomach. "My stomach hurts from all the laughing. Nao, you really are interesting." Told him. "I wonder how you would react if I kiss you?"

The moment he said the word, Nao was blushing red. Before she could stop herself, her fist had found its way towards Riku cheek and was caught by his strong grip. "I can't let you hit me there. It will cause trouble for us both." Said him bringing her hand to his lips.

Her cheeks blush even redder. Raising her leg, she kneed him in the stomach and ran, leaving him rolling on the floor in pain.
