Chapter Eighteen - Silly Love

"Greetings Your Highness. My name is Makoto Reiki." Bowed the purple hair Rei. Riku stare at the beautiful girl in front him in disbelief before turning towards the Queen.

"Is this a joke? If I remember correctly, the Makoto Reiki is a boy." Said him. "He's a she. Always have been. It's just you who didn't see it." Said Aira smiling.

"You mean all this time, you were a girl!" Shout Riku shock. But a glare from her Queen sister was enough to silent him. "Riku, Reiki is an honored guest. You should be more courteous towards her." Reprimand the Queen.

"I'm sorry. All this time I thought that you are a boy. It's kinda awkward now knowing that you're actually a girl." Said Riku with a polite cough. "Thinking back you used to follow me everywhere after I save you from the bullies."

"Because you said to follow you. If not those boys would bring trouble to me. I didn't tell you I was a girl because you never asked." Told Reiki.

"Err...right. I guess I was in wrong. I just assumed that you're a boy because you look like one. But looking at you now, there's no mistaking that you're a girl." Cough Riku lightly, his face blushing.

"Um, when I was a child my chest hasn't properly developed. But it suddenly grow afterwards. I can't wear boys clothing because of it." Said Reiki frowning, with both her hand on her ample chest.

"Prince Riku, I invited Reiki to the castle as our guest. She was to be listed as one of your candidates for the tittle of your Future Queen. But due to lack of support, she didn't make the cut. However considering that she is a childhood friend of yours, I extended her an invitation to visit the castle.

"For the next three days, I want you to keep her entertain. " Said Aira with a gentle pat on Reiki head. "Beside, you should know that she can be dense at times, so I need you to take good care of her."

"Your Highness, what brings you here?" Ask Shizuka surprise to see him. She was at the castle library when he came in follow by a beautiful girl.

"I was just showing the guest around. This is Makoto Reiki. She's a childhood friend of mine and was invited by the Queen as a guest." Introduce Riku.

"Please to meet you. My name is Hazukashii Shizuka. I am always here at the library. Its peaceful and quiet, and I like to read the books here." Told Shizuka with a smile.

Reiki look at her with awe in her eyes. "You like to read? You must be very smart." Compliment her.

"Just knowledgeable. I like to think that what I read could be helpful for Prince Riku in the future." Said Shizuka smiling softly at Riku. "You're already helping me a lot, Shizuka." Grin Riku.

"Seduced By The Ruthless Enemy King." Read Reiki out loud. It took a second for Riku to realize that she was reading out loud the tittle of the book in Shizuka hand. Embarrassed, Shizuka face was red her body stiff as a board. "This..." Stammer her.

"Lady Mayabelle,my guardian has a whole collection of books like this. But I really don't understand any of it." Told Reiki flipping through the pages with a frown.

"These things you don't need to understand!" Said Riku, his cheek blushing as he closed the book and place it back on the shelf. "That's right! It's not important for you to know!" Assured him.

Reiki stare at his flustered face for a second before reluctantly agreed. "If Riku says so..."

"Ah, right! Reiki, do you know about the Blooming Festival?" Ask Riku suddenly. "Blooming Festival?" Ask Reiki.

"It is a festival to celebrate the season of Spring. It is belive that during this season, the deities will descend down to earth to give out their blessings to humans in forms of blooming flowers. For us human, it is all about appreciating the blessings we already receive in our life with friends and family." Explain Shizuka.
