Love at First sight

Chapter 2

Asta Pov:

I woke up and take a look at my alarm clock, it showed 3 am. My throat was dry and I walk towards the kitchen when I suddenly pumped into someone. "It is three in the morning who the hell stays up til now besides me" I thought angrily. When I looked up to see the person who pumped into me. It was Yami, our squad Captain. I got up fast and wanted to bow down so I could apologize. 

Before I could do it he grabbed my shoulders so I stood straight. My eyes met with his, I quickly looked down. His hand took my chin so I had to look at him. For a few seconds we stared into each others eyes. His eyes are so beautiful, a deep black, like a mirror where you can see yourself. I noticed that his face moved closer and closer till our noses touched. I could see in his eyes that he was asking for permission, I did not say anything but my eyes spoke volumes . 

He noticed and his lips touched mine. My knees melted and I felt like I would faint. It was not a make out but it was something. The kiss was too short, he pulled away and left without saying something. I could not believe it, Yami kissed me. 

My hand touched my lips and I was so happy about it, that I wanted to celebrate right now. But now was not a good time because it was already half past three in the morning. Quickly I got myself a glass of water, drank it and returned to my room. It was hard to fall asleep because of what just happened a while ago. " Does that mean he would not reject me if I confess to him!" I fantasized and with that I fell asleep.

/Skip in the morning/

I woke up and went downstairs to the living room. Everyone sat already and they were talking. I saw Noelle talking to Vanessa. A smile formed on my face, they would be cute together. Suddenly I remember what happened 5 hours ago and blushed. What I did not notice was that Noelle stopped talking to her and that she headed towards me. Snapping out of my thoughts when she pocked me in my cheek with her finger. "What is wrong with you?? You idiot??" she said smiling at me. I did not answer right away so she hit me. 

"Ow" I whined. Thinking again about what happened. I took her arm and pulled her with me. I had to tell her somewhere where nobody would listen to us. Therefore I went back to my room and closed the door. She had a confused look on her face. " I know that you are confused but I have to tell you something important" I said excitedly. She only nodded to show me that I should hurry. " Last night I went to get myself a glass of water and I pumped into Yami and hekissedme" I said the last sentence a little bit too fast because she asked if I could repeat myself a little bit slower this time. 

"He kissed me!" I said looking at her and then she hugged and said " Oh Asta that is awesome". She squeezed me a little bit too hard, I nearly chocked. "Could you please let go for a sec, because you are literally choking me!". Immediately she let go of me and I took a deep breath as if I had nearly drowned or something. After a while we returned to the living room where the others were still talking to each other as if we never left. Out of nowhere a portal opened, Finral and Yami stepped out of it. 

I tensed up a bit but Yami just looked at me. For a second I could see a glimpse of softness in his eyes but then his expression went back to his self. He greeted everyone and when he walked past me his hand touched mine.
My cheeks turned red and Finral asked " Are you okay Asta?".
"I am fine fine Finral! You do not have to worry about me!" I replied, clearly embarrassed. He seemed to understand that I did not want to talk about that, so he just smiled and left. I sighed relived and before I noticed someone attacked me from behind. I crashed against the wall, laid there for a few sec, paralysed from the pain and shock but I was not injured.

I got up just to see Luck in front of me with his electro armour. "Fight with me Asta. I am bored" he whined smiling. I nodded and pulled out my sword from my grimoire and I started to run towards him. Before I could even attack him with my sword our heads were stuck in a strong grip. 

We both could not moved and a pissed Yami was holding us. "If you want to fight you can do that later and outside!! We have a mission!" growled Yami angrily. We both nodded hurriedly to show that we did understand it and he dropped us. 

"Our mission is to explore a dungeon and get the treasure out!!"  he explained. "Asta, Noelle you both will go on that mission with Luck !" he said "And you Finral will make a portal to get them there!!" he demanded and with that he finished and left.
