Love at First sight

Chapter 6

3rd Pov:

Everyone waited for the guy to finally tell the what their mission was. Finally the guy started talking and told them that an important city at the border to the diamond kingdom got attacked by monsters and the Team should protect it together with the golden dawn squad.

Before the guy left he introduced himself as kai and then he had to leave because he had something important to do. Everyone left the living room to pack their things together, except for Yami. He said, that he had something important to do. So it was just the Rest of the Team who went on the mission.

Finral opened a portal for them. They walked through it and arrived quickly at the city. Like always the golden dawn was already there. Asta and his teammates joined them in the fight. Together with Noelle, Asta ran through the city. It was confusing to the two since every house had the same grey brick wall and the same brown wood windows. When they suddenly saw an explosion not far from them.

On their way to the explosion they suddenly met Yuno and his team. Asta and Yuno defeated the enemy but the fight still wasn't over. Before they went to help the others, Yuno greeted Asta with a stormy hug and a kiss. Asta returned the kiss when suddenly he heard someone coughing and he glanced back.

Noelle eyed the couple scepticaly and he just stammered nervously "Surprise! That was the thing that I wanted to tell you before we were disturbed!" Noelle had that look on her face that said: 'explain everything right now'.

Asta Pov:

I sighed and let go of Yuno to explain everything to her. "It ist difficult to explain but I will try!!" I explained and continued "When I was still in the hospital Yuno visited me and I did not expect him to do it but then when his team members left we had a nice convo and then he kissed me. That was the moment when I realised that I had feelings for Yuno too. So practically I have feelings for Yami and Yuno" I finished and waited for her answer but she was just gawking at me.

I assume that it made her speechless then she snapped out of it shook her head and said "I am happy for you but I am not sure if Yami will share you!! You will have to choose" and that's where we started arguing because I did not want to choose between them.

I love both of them and I hope that it will be okay for both of them. Suddenly Yuno stepped between us and commanded "Stop arguing you two! We still have a mission to finish and save the city so save the discussion for later!!". We looked at each other and nodded.

There were still a lot of monsters to fight. Slowly I felt as if someone was sucking out my energy but I ignored it and continued to fight. I was fighting a monster when I saw that Yuno who was fighting with another monster was about to be attacked from behind.

I quickly slashed my enemy and ran to save Yuno. This time it was harder for me to fight but I ignored it again and pushed past my limits. I did not notice that the wound opened up that still was not fully healed from our last mission. So I released the demon side to help me and with the help of it I quickly defeated the enemy. The other members of the golden dawn had eliminated the rest of the monsters and I was glad that it was finally over.

Suddenly I saw dark spots dancing in my vision and then it started to get blurry. Before everything went black I could just mumble "Uh guys I think I might faint" and then I remembered nothing.

3rd Person Pov:

At first no one noticed in which shape Asta was and how pale he looked. They were all happy that the monster were finally defeated and celebrated a bit but then when they heard someone mumbling something they turned around and saw Asta who was about to fall. Yuno catched him just in time.

Noelle and the other team members of his squad rushed to his side. Finral quickly opened o portal to get Asta to the hospital. Everyone was worried and Noelle was crying. Asta was still in the surgery room when finally after an hour a doctor came out to tell them about his condition. "You are his squad?" he asked and when we nodded he continued "Well I have good and bad news. Which one would you prefer to hear first?" he looked at us waiting for our answer.

Yuno was the one to speak "The good one first." he answered. "Well the good one is that his wound will heal but..." he explained and continued "The bad one is that he has lost a lot of blood and it might have caused some damage to his brain. But we are nit completly sure yet since he has not woken up so we can not say much at the moment." he ended and left the room.

They all were so shocked that it was a painful and unbearable silence but nobody broke it. Then a nurse appeared to tell them that Asta was now in the recovery room and that they could visit him now. When they went to see Asta the door was slammed open and it was a heavy breathing Yami. "Where is he?" he panted and tried to get air. Noelle walked over to him and tried to calm him down.

Happily it worked so they could go and visit Asta. The room where Asta laid was white and clean. It smelled like disinfectant spray which was the most awful smell. The most unbearable look was Asta who was as pale as the bed sheets. He looked like a ghost.
