Love at First sight

Chapter 1

Asta Pov:

I sighed, it's hopeless. He will never love me. Now you are probably asking yourself who I am talking about. If you mean Sister Lily, it could be true, but no it is not Sister Lily, at least not anymore. I will tell you who it is.

Flashback

Since the first time I saw him when he stepped out of the dark hall when the squad captains were introduced at the
wizard exam. At first I only noticed my heart beating faster than usual but I thought it was because I was nervous. When the exam was over and they called out the names so the captains would choose which one of the participants they want. Finally they called my name and I stepped forward, but no one of was raising their hands. I felt disappointed and frustrated so I screamed "Although I am not in a squad, one day I will be the wizard king!". After that suddenly I felt an unbelievable strong force and it came from Yami.

He stood up and jumped down in front of me and asked "You wanna be the wizard king?! You do not even have magic!".

In that Moment I felt it again, my heart started beating faster  and my knees were trembling a little bit. At first my brain was blank and I did not know what I should say but then I snapped out of my stare. I shouted "Yes I wanna be the wizard king even though I do not have magic but I will not give up!!". I waited for him to tell me what people have already told me my whole life but he only started laughing and spoke in an amusing tone"I like you boy! Come join my squad". When I heard that, I was overwhelmed at first. This might be one of the first times someone did not belittle me for my dream. I did not know how to respond. So I stood there in utter disbelief. "What are you saying kid? Stop starring and say something!". I was still in shock, I could only manage a small nod.

Flash back End

I remember that day clearly as if it was yesterday. That day I was not the only one who joined the squad. A girl named Noelle Silver, a royal,  also became a member of the black bull. She appeared self-conceited at first but when I found out it was only an act because of her family and that she could not control her magic, we eventually became friends. Now we are best friends who tell each other everything. She even knows that I am in love with Captain Yami and I know that she is in love with Vanessa. When I found out I was a little hurt because she did not tell me right away but after she explained her fear of me ending up hating her, I just had to forgive her.

At that day I also told her about my feelings for Yami. So it was equable that we both have not told each other yet. Since then, 5 months have passed.

I got frustrated so I distracted myself with training to get stronger and surpass Yuno, my rival. I also made good friends with the other squad members. My superiors are Finral and Magna. The other members are Vanessa, Luck a crazy guy who always smiles and who loves to fight, Gauche a guy who is a pervert because he is way too obsessed with his little sister Marie, Charmie a small girl who loves to eat but if you touch her food she will kill you, Grey , Gordon he is ... how should I say more of a quiet companion. But all in all they are my second family.
Oh I forgot! The most crucial Person of all, our squad Captain Yami Sugehiro who is tremendously strong and powerful and, of course, very handsome~

Yami Pov:

From the day I met that kid, I knew that he was something special, even though he had no magic. He never gives up on his dream, that he will be the wizard king. A dream that I admire that kid for. I saw him on the day of the exam when he was called so someone of the captions could raise their hands if they wanted him. Nobody did, not even me, until he exclaimed that he will be the wizard one day and he will never give up.

I decided to test him and I activated my power. I Jumped down in front of him and yelled at him "You wanna be the wizard king!! You do not even have magic powers!". For a few seconds, he just starred at me but then he snapped out of it and screamed " Yes I wanna be the wizard king even in spite of having no magic!!" I saw the fire in his beautiful green eyes I kinda lost myself in them. "Yami pull yourself together " I thought. After he said that, I started laughing " I like you kid!! Come join my squad!". Again he just starred at me , as I read his Ki , he was overwhelmed and did not know what to say. Asta was only able to nod. Asta was not the only one who joined our squad. Noelle a girl from the royal Silver family, also became a member because she could not control her magic.

As the time passed these two became best friends and settled in well.

I started to notice strange feelings I get around Asta. I have never experienced such emotions. I thought about that and I came to the conclusion that I fell in love with Asta but I did not know if he likes me too so I kept it to myself. When it is about love or other emotions I can not read his Ki. I am only able to read Ki when I fight.

3 Person Pov:

Asta was cleaning the floor when he met Noelle. "Hi Noelle! Where were ya?" he said smiling at her. "I trained a little bit " she said with a smile on her pale face. "How's it going with Vanessa?".
She started blushing and stuttered " I..I..I d..d..don't kn..n..now what ya talking about" She tried to cover her face with her hands.

After a few minutes of remaining silent she calmed down and smirked knowingly "When will you tell Yami sama!!? That you love him?!".
Suddenly she started to sing mockingly "Asta and Yami sitting on a tree both of them are kissing looks like love to me~".
Asta quickly shut her up by putting his hand over her mouth and glared at her for singing that. He shushed her and said "Never do that again! Besides,... he will never feel the same way." he sighed and realised "What if Yami heard this?" he thought, looking around, hoping he was not there. He was reliefed when he couldn't notice anyone else around.

In the Woods

Yami went out to enjoy the peace in the Clover Kingdom and that we did not have a contract.

An hour Later

He swiped off the sweat from his forehead and started walking back.
He returned from his training when he heard Asta and Noelle talking. He wanted to ignore it but when he heard Noelle singing "Asta and Yami sitting on a tree both of them are kissing looks like love to me~". He got curios and wanted to find out if it was true. If he does ask Asta now, it would be too obvious that he had been listening to their conversation. So he decided walked back to his room and la to bed. He wasn't able to Fall asleep.  Still wondering about their conversation. He liked to imagine that they were serious and that Asta jad feelings for him. He continued fantasising and slowly managed to fall asleep.

Back to the conversation

"You are lucky that he did not hear you!" he said still glaring at her.
"You started it you idiot!!" She pointed out glaring back at Asta. He sighed and apologised while awkwardly scratching his head.

They both said goodnight and went to their rooms.

Asta Pov:

In my room I fell face first into the bed. After a few minutes later I sat up and leaned against my wall.
My room might not be that big, but I could call it my own and therefore I am glad.
I sighed and realised that Yami could never love someone like me.
I mean how could he, he is tall has muscles and powerful magic. He is perfect! He must be one hundred percent straight.
Compared to him I am small. I do have muscles and a six-pack but he will never love someone like me, after all I am a male. Sometimes I wished why I couldn't have fallen for a girl instead. Perhaps it would  be easier to confess.
What if he hates me or finds me disgusting if I confess to him? No, I could never. I don't want to ruin our current relationship.

I continued thinking about him for another 10 minutes before I noticed how tired I was and eventually fell asleep.
