Chapter 4

Months had passed and everything was going well with Lovino and Antonio until something changed

Lovino's for Antonio grew stronger but Antonio's feelings for Lovino gre weaker

Antonio had grown attracted to Belgium and she too had a thing for the spaniard

Antonio didn't know how to tell Lovi, he didn't want hurt him, he still cared for Lovino no matter what

But he was worried about breaking poor Romano's heart

It was the day of yet another world conference

Lovino took his usual seat next his brother

He then saw Antonio enter the room, he smiled at him but Spain only ignored him, which made Romano kind of confused, Spain would always be happy to see Romano but today he seemed sad and worried

The meeting had ended and Lovino was speaking to his brother as usual when Antonio interrupted

"Lovi, Can I speak to you for a moment?" He looked at the italian with a sad look

"Sure, Toni"

Antonio dragged Lovino out of the conference hall and into a separate room in the building

"Soo, what was it you wanted to tell me Antonio?"

"Look Lovi, you know I care for you and you mean a lot to me but, I have feelings for Belgium, I'm sorry for this but I hope we can still be friends"

Lovino looked to the floor he was trying to contain the tears that were forming in his eyes

"Lovi are you..."

"DONT CALL ME LOVI, I AM ROMANO, DON'T YOU EVER DARE CALL ME LOVI AGAIN , YOU DAMN TOMATO BASTARD, I THOUGHT YOU WERE DIFFERENT BUT I WAS WRONG, I HATE YOU"

Lovino then ran out of the room, crying

Romano's P.O.V

"Why? Goddammit why?

Why did I fall for him? Why did I fall in love with that tomato bastard? It was a mistake, I knew this was going to happen eventually, no one has ever loved me, like always people will treat me like nothing, it was just like when I was a child, ignored, unwanted, useless, worthless!"

I kept crying until I finally got home

Spain's P.O.V

"I knew I shouldn't have told Romano that, but it was for the best, I didn't mean to hurt him, but it was better that I tell him than later, poor Lovi"

Romano's P.O.V

I was crying for the rest of the day, I couldn't stop

Feli then came back from a meeting he had with the Axis

"Fratello, where are you?~"

"I-I'm in the living room"

Feliciano entered the room and got a worried expression on his face when he saw me

I was covered in a blanket from head to toe and my eyes were red from all the crying and one of the pillows was stained with tears

"Lovi, what happened?" He asked as he sat next to me and patted my back to comfort me

"What do you think? The tomato bastard rejected me, i knew it was going to happen at some point!"

"He what? But why?"

"He said he now loves that Belgium hoe" I said angrily

"Omg" Feliciano was shocked and he also seemed angry

"Don't worry Lovino, Everything will be alright, let's go to the bar and get a few drinksthat always makes you feel better" Feliciano smiled at me with his usual goofy grin

"Yeah sure why not?"

I got up from the couch but before I could even take another step, everything went black, the last thing I heard was Feliciano screaming my name

Feliciano P.O.V

"LOVINO"

I screamed as I saw my brother fall to the floor, he had fainted after having his emotional breakdown

I quickly called 9-11 and ten minutes later the ambulance arrived and we were taken to the hospital

It had already been 5 hours and the doctors told me that Romano had fainted due to stress and depression but was fine.

I waited until they told me I could finally see him

The first thing I did was call Antonio when they took Romano to the room

Antonio finally arrived twenty minutes after I had called him

"Feli!!! Where is Lov..."

Before he could finish speaking, I slapped him

"THANKS TO YOU ROMANO FAINTED, HE HAD AN EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN THANKS TO YOUR LITTLE REJECTION, I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!

I then walked away to ask the nurses if I could see my brother
