Michael (P.O.V)

This was the first time I saw our pack's future luna. She was strong. She would make a great luna. What confused me was that I can already sense her wolf. It only takes the average turned wolf one to two full moons in order to turn and a month to start feeling their beast. But her's was different. Powerful even. I wondered if she would be able to shift sooner than later.

With that thought, I trailed behind Atego's Alpha, my Alpha. He was livid. When he burst into the conference room, all the chattering reduced to hushed whispers and curious glances.

He walked haughtly to his seat at the end of the table. He looked down at his folded fists and pressed his knuckles into the shiny hardwood table with lips pressed into a thin flat line of frustration.

"Tyrell." He said simply.

"The borders are secure, now. The attack happened at the East borders-" Tyrell, our head tracker, got up explaining before he was cut off by Dylan slamming his fist on the table making the other people surrounding it jump.

"Stop giving me information that I already know." He growled out roughly, eyes blazing.

"Uhh..... well, we investigated some of the wounds to find traces of silver and a type of wolfsbane. They completely ripped the heads off the victims and defanged them. We also found this." Tyrell slid an empty envelope across the table to Dylan.

Dylan opened the envelope carefully as though expecting a bomb. A white crisp paper with the initials 'D.W.K' etched in a perfect handwriting adressing someone.

His eyes skimmed over the paper. With every word, his eyes got larger.
He huffed out in disbelief until his eyes went hard. He turned to me stiffly.

"Up the security. I want this place on a total lock down. Contact the neigbouring packs for rogue sightings and notify them of the notes that they may have on their borders." He said.

"Yes, Alpha." I dipped my head slightly showing him my respect.

"Everyone else, dig deeper. These cryptic notes and attacks have to stop. Keep investigating and even the smallest details, I would like to be aware of immediately." He commanded as everyone mumbled a low "Yes, Alpha." As he dismissed everyone else except me and Jacobi but we call him Cobi for short.

"Pack memebers are getting suspicous about our 'mystery luna'. You would have to show her sooner or later." Cobi said.

"I know. But she hasn't shifted yet. And she's new to all of this. Plus she isn't stable enough to hear about all of this." Dylan answered clearly frustrated.

"Hear about what?" She stood there with Katie's arm wrapped around her tiny waist.

Celene (P.O.V)

SHIT.

Everyone looked at Dylan expecting an explaination. Michael nudged him, gesturing to say something as he sighed.

"We had another attack. Rogues killed some of our pack members on patrol and we found this." Dylan handed me an envelop with the wax seal brokened.

Dear My Queen,

As much as I wanted to meet you face to face, I guess would have to resort to sending you notes. I see you've finally found your bastard of a mate. I have been watching you for a long time and I would like to extend my condelences towards you loosing a baby. Imagine loosing a child. Well I guess you can. By the way, how is your father? Tell him I missed his screams of agony.

Yours Painfully,
D.W.K

And the note ended. I placed the note back into the envelope. Katie stood in front of me holding my face in her smoothe hands.
