After a long while of looking at the portals and trying to figure out which one to go through first, you finally decided on one.

You stood in front of the arch and looked at how it was decorated.

The Portal arch has been constructed out of wood and looks similar to a tree, the top of the arch is even covered with leaves that part at the middle to show that the wood from each column comes together and forms the shape of a full moon, the columns have claw marks on them as well like someone slashed at them.

After a few moments of inspecting it, you nodded your head.

"Is that the portal that you want to go through?" Lilac asked you.

"Yeah" you nodded. "The claw marks are a bit worrying but I think that I should be fine..."

"Confident, aren't you?" she smiled. "Well let's get that portal open for you then"

Lilac moved to stand by the pink orb that sat in the middle of the room, she hovered her hands over it with a look of focus on her face.

Soon enough a pink aura began to appear within the glass orb which started to phase through the glass and towards the portal arch looking like a pink mist as it grew closer and closer to it's destination.

"Don't get in the way of it, Dear... It may not be pretty if the aura hits you instead of the arch..." Lilac warned you.

You quickly stepped aside and watched as the pink misty aura touched the arch and began to form an orb in the middle of the arch.

The orb soon began to stretch until it filled the entirety of the arch which is when it started to look like a portal, the only problem was that you were unable to see what was on the other side.

"Now remember, Dear... The portal will open again for you on New Years but I will only keep it open for a few hours before I close it forever..." she informed you. "So do try to be on time..."

"Don't worry, I'll come to the portal as fast as I possibly can..." you promised her.

"Good to hear... Now get going..." she told you. "Don't want to keep the monster waiting, do you?"

You looked back at the portal and mentally prayed that the monster on the other side of the portal wouldn't be too cruel to you.

Afterwards you took a deep breath before passing through the portal, the first thing that you noticed was that it was very dark in this place and it only got darker after the portal closed behind you.

You tried to see what was around you but you were unable to see much other than the nearby trees, the ground underneath your feet, the sky overhead, and yourself.

"Well... This is just great... I'm in the wilderness at night with no way to find my way around..." you thought to yourself.

The night was a bit cold so you slipped your flannel on to hopefully make yourself warmer.

"And if that wasn't bad enough, there's a monster on the loose... This is just absolutely perfect..." you thought to yourself. "I guess that I should have really chosen a different portal... Thanks, women's intuition... You've failed me once again..."

You kept looked around at the scenery around you trying to spot any sort of light or figures in the distance that would tell you if there was anyone nearby.

"I can't see anything..." you thought to yourself. "Guess that I should probably start walking before whatever monster lives in this place finds me..."

You started walking away from the portal arch and deeper into the forest; the only sounds nearby were your footsteps and the occassional snapping whenever you stepped on a stick.
