After a while of walking and looking at all of the portal arches trying to find one that you wanted to go through, none of them really looked all that interesting to you.
At least that was until you found one that made your eyes widen at how beautiful it looked.
This portal arch seems to be made out of plants that mostly look like vines, there are big flowers of all sorts of colors blossoming all over the columns, the top of the arch has two special flowers sprouting from it that resemble the wings of a butterfly.
"So pretty..." you were in awe.
"People usually do have that reaction when seeing this portal arch..." Lilac commented. "Is this the portal that you want to go through though, dearie?"
"Yes please!" you nodded. "I mean how bad can a monster with a portal arch like this be?"
"You shouldn't let pretty sights deceive you, dearie... You must be aware that the prettiest flowers bloom the sharpest thorns..." she told you.
"I'm pretty sure that thorns don't bloom..." you corrected her.
"Hush..." she seemed slightly embarrassed. "Now are you absolutely sure that this is this the portal that you want to go through?"
"Yes" you nodded your head.
"Then do stand aside and allow me to open up the portal for you..." she said.
You took a step to the side away from the portal arch as Lilac began to hover her hands over the glass orb with a foucused look on her face.
Slowly but surely, a pink mist began to appear inside of the glass orb that got bigger and bigger until it filled the entirety of the glass orb.
This is when the pink mist phased through the surface of the glass orb and began to stretch towards the portal arch.
"What's that?" you asked while looking at it.
"This a type of magical energy that allows me to open up portals..." she answered.
"It's very pretty..." you commented on it.
"Do not touch it... If it touches you instead of the portal arch then it will be rather unpleasant..." she informed you.
"I wasn't gonna touch it" you raised your hands up and stepped back.
The pink mist moved until it touched the middle of the portal arch causing a portal to open up, you looked at the portal but you couldn't see a single thing through it giving you no way of knowing what was on the other side of it.
"Now remember... As soon as your on the other side of it, the portal will shut and it won't open again until this time next year..." she reminded you. "Am I understood?"
"I got it and don't worry, I'll be there as soon as I possibly can..." you answered.
"You had better hurry as soon as the clock strikes midnight because I'll only keep the portal open for a few hours..." she told you. "If you aren't there in time then I'll assume you aren't coming and close the portal..."
"I know and I promise that I won't be late..." you promised her.
"Well if you promise then go already" she commanded. "Don't keep your monster waiting now..."
You didn't need to be told twice and you headed through the portal with it quickly closing behind you once you were through it.
Once you were on the other side, you found yourself standing in a rather strange looking garden full of all kinds of flowers that were currently all closed up on account of it being rather late at night but the flowers seemed to much bigger than the average flower and some flowers looked so strange that you could have sworn that they weren't flowers from your world.
