"She was just sad" they said.
"She would always cry"
But maybe that was because
nobody ever bothered asking her why.
Some would think she did things for attention.
Some probably think even this.
But would she really take it this far?
Is attention worth cutting your wrists?
There are a lot of facts that most people don't see.
I know this girl was trying to fit in,
But everyone continued to isolate her.
This girl was never able to win.
She always tried to skip school,
But her parents would always get pissed off.
So she tried to tell them she was being bullied,
But their reply was a scoff.
Nobody treated her kindly.
She would always have a meltdown.
But now everyone pretends they were close to her.
Now that she isn't around.
All she wanted was a friend.
This fact makes me so mad!
Why hadn't anyone realize
That she was way more than "just sad"?
