AYAME'S POV

After I got to the castle, Yui and the vampire brothers gathered in the living room and they were all waiting for an explanation after I got there. When I arrived, Yui hid behind Subaru and I knew that she was afraid of me. I sat down on the couch and I said to them.

"I suppose all of you have questions," I said as I looked at the others.

"We do and quite a few," Reiji said with a strict glare in his eyes.

"So what do you want to know?"

"When did you turn into a vampire and how long has Ayato known about it?" Shu asked with a frown on his face.

"I didn't get turned, as a matter of fact, no vampire turned me, I'm half vampire and half-human," I told the others.

The vampire brothers were surprised by this and then Kanato took a closer look at me and he said to me.

"She's right, her fangs have disappeared."

"Wait a second, when your mother visited us, we didn't sense any vampire blood from her," Ruki told me.

"That's because we've been taking blood pills," I said as I got the bottle from my pocket and I showed the others.

"I've been taking these pills since I was little, Okaa-san has always told me to keep taking these to keep my vampire powers under control, however, as the lunar eclipse got closer I've been taking stronger doses until now."

"Until now?" Reiji questioned me.

"Now that the red moon is here, my body started rejecting the blood pills," I explained to the others.

"But why? why take blood pills? are you really that powerful?" Subaru asked me.

I sighed a little and I then told them.

"I would say yes but, the effects of the pills are still kicking in at the moment, as a matter of fact, I'm no ordinary vampire, I'm from the blue blood race."

The vampire brothers looked at me shocked and then Shu asked me.

"Blue blood?! that's impossible, that race was said to have been extinct."

"True, but, the blue blood who lived here in the demon world died out because of certain diseases or they were killed by vampire hunters, however, there was only one vampire who managed to escape, his name was Koga Sakamoto, he was a blue blood vampire and then he met my ancestor Maria Takashi. Koga was also suffering from a vampire disease, it was most likely Endzeit, but, Maria was able to heal him and get rid of the disease permanently."

The vampire brothers were surprised when I told them this.

"She did?! that's impossible, there's no way you can get rid of a vampire disease that easily," Yuma spoke in a shocked tone.

"That's where you're wrong, Yuma, you see, my family are from a long line of exorcists, scientists and mages, all of the info based on these diseases and the cures are all written down in her journal."

Yui looked shocked when she remembered about the box.

"Oh no! so that's what was in that box! Ayame, I'm so sorry!"

"Yui, chill out, it's all right."

"Huh?"

I looked at Ayato and then he called for his familiars. Three of his bats came over to me with the journal and then they gave it to me.

"The journal is right here, safe and sound."

"Wait, what?!" Yui asked in a shocked and confused tone.
