AN :

Hi guys!!! So its been I think like three weeks since I've updated a chapter but my internet had a couple of issues back then so I can't update.

So this chapter is extra long than my normal ones, I usually kept each chapter around 2000 words but this time I keep it at 2700 or so and I hope you guys are happy about it.

Now there are 2 changes I want to update you guys :

1. I decided to move my author's note at the top so any info won't be skipped.

2. You guys probably notice I don't add the lyrics anymore, and that's just because if I keep doing that, with more comebacks, it will be too much. So I decided I'll include it when the chapter really suits it, let me know what you think!

Happy Reading!

JUNGKOOK POV

Eunha is acting weird, one moment she is warm and the next she is detached. She keep stuffing food in her mouth before she even swallow it completely yet.

I grip her wrist before she can scoop some more food into her spoon and she jerked and glare at me.

"If you don't want to talk to me, its fine. Don't choke yourself while eating."

I released her wrist and continue to eat, not bothering to fill in the stretching awkward painful silence.

"I'm sorry." She says it softly, so soft that its barely audible.

"What are you sorry for?" I ask, half curious and half dreading the answer.

"I.. For being rude."

I simply nod, knowing that it isn't the true answer and she shifted slightly, but I don't press the matter further. It confirmed my suspicion earlier as to why she suddenly apply for the job, and now acting warm for one second and then detached.

There is something going on, and the more oblivious I am, the easier I'll find out because she'll be more relax.

"Its okay, it must've been hard for you to talk with me."

Opening a conversation like this will make her even more anxious but I can't think of any other reason why she is being weird other than something is going on and her hatred for me.

She slumped in her seat, "I'm.. horrible."

I paused with my spoon near my mouth, and glance at her, to find her eyes wet with unshed tears.

I reach for her hands, "you're not, its okay."

She blinked rapidly and look up at the ceiling, then take some deep breath before meeting my eyes and my heart clenched.

She looked frustrated and scared, but what for?

"Let's eat." She tries to smile but it looked wobbly but she eats anyway so I do the same.

Again, don't push her.

"Why did you grow out your hair?" I ask after a while, needing to break the painful silence.

"Oh, well, I thought it will be a nice change." She shrugged, the movement making her high ponytail swing slightly.

"And you dye it black."

She crunched up her nose, "its more expensive to dye the roots brown every month when I'm growing it. So I just dye it back to my natural color."

"Speaking of hair, all of you have black hair now." She says, looking thoughtful.
