stephanie's point of view
it was the day after the infamous game. we were in dorians class first. "all right, gather together." he announced to the already formed circle. we all held hands as we listened to his witch lecture. "where is penelope park?"

"lady cramps, mr.williams. she'll be back soon." i stated waiting to continue the lesson. studying magic was my favorite thing about school.

"sorry i asked." he mumbled before continuing. "a disharmonious group makes for an uneven flow." he explained causing the students to laugh.

i rolled my eyes right before a note was sent flying into the room. "uh oh, who's in trouble with the headmaster?" josie asked watching as dorian collected the note.

"probably the people who started a rumble with the local high school." hope smarted off. i glared at her slightly. in my defense it was a needed attack.

mr. williams read off the list aloud. "stephie saltzman. lizzie saltzman. josie saltzman. and baby mikaelson makes four." he said eyeing hope.

i tried to contain my laughter. as we walked to meet my father she leaned over to whisper. "guess i jinxed myself." hope said doing her best not to laugh. "remember how much trouble we used to get into?"

i nodded as we approached my father. he explained we would be doing community service after yesterday's little stunt. "this doesn't make any sense, why are we being punished?" lizzie screeched obviously annoyed.

"because you started a brawl at a charity football game that risked exposing what really do here. what part of that did i not make clear?" dad said leading us through the library.

"in our defense, you weren't mad last night." i said earning a glare from him.

"i was mad last night, my undying love for my three daughters just happened to trump my rage." he said continuing to whatever he was doing. he was acting weird since that landon kid went commando. but we got the knife and the boys aren't here so everything should be normal. "i volunteered everyone in the game, so stop complaining. you're lucky it's just community service and not actual jail time."

lizzie stood above us on the split floor. "can i at least offer a rebuttal in my defense, if it pleases the court?" she said before my father made the carry on gesture he made when we do group therapies over arguing. "first of all, i was provoked. my response was totally proportional considering the levels of abuse i was forced to endure." hope tried to contain her laughter while dad just looked plain annoyed. "and secondly....if anyone should take the blame, it's stephie and josie."

woah woah woah. "what?!" josie and i said defensively at her stupid allegation.

"i'm sorry. i totally cracked under cross. but if josie wasn't throwing everyone off screaming to lose and stephie had just let kaleb catch the ball then not start the fight." she said as dad cut her off.

"you'd still be in trouble." he said lizzie not getting while we were in trouble in the first place.

"but nice job throwing your sisters under the bus." hope said smiling sarcastically at her. wait why was she even there? she wasn't at the game.

"thank you, hope." josie and i said at the same time causing lizzie to look at us down below in utter disgust.

"speaking of, the bus leaves in ten minutes and i expect all four of you to be on it, working together today, harmoniously and without any drama." he said eyeing all of us at once. "end of debate."
