I'm awake and everything around me is only covered by a dim light that's coming from somewhere outside my window. My house is the only building around this area, and I never leave any lights on during the night, so I peeked outside my window and there I saw it; a white sun that consumes all light. Everything outside was deprived of colour and very dim, but instead of miles of grasslands, the sight from my window was a calm beach.

Was I dreaming again? No, I don't think so, my mind was within my head and I was thinking clearly; this only made me much more terrified. The beach seemed to be like some sort of inner bubble inside the land: it was almost a lake, but it was connected to the sea by the side on the far end of it. A tall cliff with a slow rise was on left side of the beach, and a figure was standing on top of it, it seemed to be looking into the dark horizon.

I ran to the door of my house to try and open the door, until I heard that smooth and ominous voice, the voice of that shadow, that nightmare that creeps around my dreams "aren't you forgetting something?" it said, and when I turned my back it was pointing at my desk. I knew what he meant, he was reminding my of my job. I made the quick choice to pack my backpack; I stored in it plenty of ink, some pens, plenty of paper, and my journal. The shadow seemed unsatisfied with my actions, since he probably expected me to ignore this situation and just go back to sleep, yet it still decided to cram himself into my backpack as well.

I almost forgot to change out my pyjamas, so I rushed and put on the simplest set of clothes I had, plus my cloak and hat, and after that, with my heart on throat, I opened the door. I was expecting for everything to vanish, for it all to actually have been some weird but quick dream, but to my dismay, it wasn't, everything was still there. Taking my lamp which, I left outside (it was off) I went running up the slope that lead into the peak of the cliff, and maintaining my distance, trying to not be seen, I peeked at the figure. I thought that maybe, it could've been the knight, but he wasn't, instead all I saw was a tall thin man dressed in a black cape, which was all I could see since I was behind him.

Getting myself together I walked towards him in a normal fashion and said hi. He jumped a little in shock and then turned his face to look at me and just said "huh?". I wasn't sure how to respond to that, so I just said hi again, to this he responded with "oh, hi" and then went back to look at the endless black horizon. This seemed quite fruitless, yet there was something about it that made me feel uneasy.

After standing beside him for a while I decided to sit down, and I eventually fell asleep there. When I woke up, I found out I was in my front porch on top of a bench I have there. I had my backpack on, but my lamp was missing. Confused and tired, I decided to enter my house and sleep for a while, when I decided to take one of my pens out to write you this letter, I saw the shadow was still inside my backpack, and I'm very frightened about that right now, and I think it's frightened about it as well. See, I now have proof, I speak the truth, you really have to come see this Airell.
