Chapter Eight

~Jeongguk's POV~

"Now now Jinnie, you do not throw food. After lunch you will sit in the time out chair, okay prince?" Jinnie recoiled and nodded "yes A-Appa...how l-long?" He asked, looking up hopefully "Let's say 25 minutes, okay cub?" Jiminie said, clearing up the mess Jinnie had made when he threw his sandwich at the wall "O-o-okay..." I finished off my sandwich and I pushed my plate away "Tank you diminie, it was bery yumyum" he chuckled softly and nodded "I'm glad you liked it Kookie"

Daddy ruffled my hair and he lifted me up "I'll take him to sit in the playroom while everyone else finishes off" He carried me to Jinnie's playroom and I whined, wanting to be with the others "Stay here sweetheart, I'll go get Joonie in a second" My breathing quickened when he left and I bit my lip in an attempt to not burst out crying "Dada..." I called out quietly as I fidgeted on the spot and I looked down sadly.

A few minutes later Joonie came in, with TaeTae carrying him "Here you go Joonie, you can play with Kookie. Jinnie, where are you?" Jinnie ran to TaeTae and he walked over to the timeout chair "I'll wa-wait here Daddy..." TaeTae smiled and nodded "Yep, good boy. No talking while in timeout, I'll set a timer for you" TaeTae put his phone down and I whined again when he left "I wan' Dada..." I said quietly, pouting. Joonie pushed himself towards me and he looked over me curiously "Are you okay k..kookie?"

My breathing was fast and uneven and he was frowning "I want Dada..." I said, crossing my arms. He pulled my rattle out from behind his back and I stared at it "Take it, that might help you calm down" I gently took it from him and I frowned again, wanting daddy to shake it for me "Shake it" I shook my head and I dropped it "I want Dada!" I said, slamming my fists against the ground in what would look like a tantrum

I felt my throat burn as I had an urge to start crying and my eyes watered "Dada...Appa..." I fidgeted and I gulped "Shh, kookie, it's okay!" Joonie said, trying to calm me down. I shook my head and I pushed him away "I-I-I wan' D-D-Dada!" Suddenly my chest burned and I lost control of my breathing. Jinnie turned around and gasped "D-D-Daddy!!!! It's the b-baby! he's having a p-p-panic at-attack!" Jinnie jumped up and he rushed over to me. Joonie was trying to hug me but I pushed him away, his touch burning my skin "Kookie?!" Daddy and Appa came in with TaeTae and Jiminie and I stared at them all, attempting to take deep breaths

"Oh my god, what happened?!" Daddy asked, panicking "H-He wanted Yoonie, he kept saying he w-wanted 'Dada' and he pushed J-Joonie away" Jinnie gulped as he spoke and he knelt down next to me "B-Baby, can I h-hug you?" I shook my head ever so slightly and he nodded "D-Daddy, he doesn't w-wanna be touched" TaeTae nodded and they all crowded around me, making me worse "Step back, he need space" Jiminie said as he stepped back.

My arms were wrapped around myself in an attempt to protect myself and I felt I was gonna die "Bub, shh...it's okay, can you try following my breathing?" Appa said, sitting in front of me. I stared at him and he slowly lifted his hand up and down as he breathed "Breathe in bub, and breathe out, shhh, it's okay, don't cry" at this point I realised I was sobbing and I took a sharp breath in "Keep copying me angel, you're doing so well" After around 15 minutes of following Appa I calmed down enough to regain control of my breathing and I started sobbing even more.

"Can I hold your hand bub?" Daddy asked tentatively. I nodded and he slowly grabbed my hand, squeezing it slightly. After a while, I stopped sobbing and I was just extremely shaken "I'm so proud of you for sticking through that darling. Can you tell me what happened?" he asked softly, wiping my tears away "Y-yous left me. I tought you abandoned me" I started sniffling and he kissed my forehead Oh I'd never abandon you hun, Appa wouldn't either. You're too adorable to abandon" I giggled slightly and I heard the alarm ring out for Jinnie's timeout

"D-Did I break the rule for t-t-talking in timeout A-Appa?" Jiminie shook his head and he smiled sadly "No, you did a good thing alerting us prince, thank you" The little smiled proudly and he gave me a hug "I-I sorry you had to go thr-through that baby, it's bad i-isn't it" I nodded slowly and he smiled at me "D-Do you wanna play m-minecraft?" I tilted my head, confused as to what 'Minecraft' was "I think he's a bit young for video games cub, how about you just play with your toys? Joonie can join in too!" Appa picked up a small stuffed rabbit and I whined, making grabby hands for it "Can I play w-with RJ?" TaeTae nodded and he picked up a stuffy that looked like a sentient cloud "T-Thank you, Daddy. You can all go n-now"

They all laughed and I whined again when Daddy stood up "Stay. Pwease..." Daddy sat back down next to me and Appa sat the other side "Awww, you're so clingy and adorable!" I giggled softly and Appa took my paci out of his pocket "here you go, hun. Oh, and here's the rabbit" He handed me the rabbit and he popped the paci in my mouth, making me smile "Tank yous..." I watched as Jinnie played with Joonie and i gasped, remembering my drawing. I crawled over to it and I grabbed it, making sure not to rip it

"I dwew for yous!"I held up the picture in front of both of them and they smiled widely "Wow, our little artist. Who is in the picture sweetheart?" I pointed to the rabbit and i pointed to myself "Bun is kookie. Cwab is doonie, and wwama [llama] is dinnie! den Appa is de sun and Dada is de trees" They laughed softly and my smile faded "Yous waughing at kookie...?" They quickly shook their heads and Daddy pulled me in for a hug "We'd never laugh at you darling, we're just happy! okay?" I nodded and I snuggled into his chest "Do you not want to play? Do you just want to stay with us?" I nodded again and he chuckled slightly "Okay bub."

I turned to see Jinnie trying Joonies hair with a bow and I smiled, watching them play. Joonie looked awkward and jinnie poked his dimples "C-Cute!" Joonie suddenly got shy and he hid his face in his hands. I suddenly leaned forward onto my hands and I crawled over to Joonie "Hewwo." I smiled at him as I plopped on my butt next to him and he smiled at me "Hi Kookie" I poked his dimples and He made a :] face before he hid his face in his hands again

"Kookie wove your dimples" I put my arms around him and I pulled him in for a hug. He wrapped his long arms around me and I giggled softly "Yous smell nice..wike mawshmawwows" TaeTae popped his head and he heard what I said "He had a bath a few hours before you came, that's why he smells so nice. You two need anything?" He asked Daddy and Appa, who both shook their heads "Bear cub? would you like a drink?" Jinnie shook his head and he smiled at TaeTae "N-No thank you, Daddy" TaeTae nodded and left again

"Aww, you're all so cute!" Appa took his phone out and he took a picture of all of us. I hid my face in Joonies chest and he laughed softly "You're so clingy..." He bent down and whispered quietly in my ear, "I'm sorry for breaking up with you jungkook...I know you don't know what I'm talking about cause you're little but uh...I still love you..." I smiled at him and he leaned back "Kookie woves yous too!" He gave me this huge smile and I booped his nose with my paci as a kiss

"Awwww I'm gonna get a heart attackkk" Appa said, suddenly talking in a cutesy voice "Appa gon' die?" I asked, turning to look at him sadly "No, you're just too adorable! You're killing me with cuteness" I pouted at him and I sighed "Sowwy for kiwwing yous..." he laughed and shook his head "it's okay sweetie, don't apologise. I'm gonna go talk with Jiminie, stay here with Daddy, okay?" I nodded and I lost my balance, falling onto Joonie "Okays Appa. Wanna draw with me Doonie?" Joonie nodded and I rolled onto my stomach, ripping a paper out of my book

"here yous goes, issa cwab!" he smiled and he let out a small giggle "I love crabs...I'm gonna make him green, cause he's special!" We both sat colouring and Jinnie was playing on a Nintendo switch, playing some kind of blocky game. I looked over at Daddy and Appa who were whispering in each other's ears and Daddy kissed Appa on the lips, making me go 'bleh' "Icky daddy..." I said quietly, drawing a big purple flower. Joonie put his arm over my back as we coloured together and I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder This is so peaceful, I got namjoon, my boyfriend I guess, Jinnie and Appa and Daddy. I'm safe, loved and that's all I could hope for. I wish I could never leave, I want to stay here forever!
