Ode to the beautiful curse in which we bear within our own humanity

To crave destruction so yet to fascade ourselves within our own creation

It truly is beautiful

The way we lay waste to the world we call home yet desperately search for an answer in which we can find nowhere but within our selves

Do not fear simplicity my darling

For it was always the beautiful part of your soul in which I had the delirious pleasure of witnessing

You always were the balance that I so desperately craved

Me absolutely lost within my own complexity, lost within these worlds I had grown to revere so

Yet somehow you found me within my own wonderland

You were the only one ever brave enough to jump into the rabbit hole and walk with me here

Amongst the singing flowers and the talking catapillers

Even the cat here loves you

So worry not, for you will never be forgotten

After all, what was wonderland without its Alice
