As I walked with Bertholt, my good friend on the streets of Washington, snow slowly started falling. You loved teasing him when it came to height.
" Is it snowing up there giant?" I asked laughing
" Would it be bad if I said it wasn't?" He awnsered chuckling.
" umm.....maybe...it's cold down here" you said grabbing your earmuffs from you bag and putting them on. He laughed as picked you up and onto his shoulders. He liked doing that, since I was on 5"3.
" oh my god I feel like im in a Disney movie" I said laughing an placing my hands in his hair.
He started laughing and I knew where he was going. He looked around to see an empty street, unusaul.
" I can show you the world" he started singing. You couldn't help but laugh. You loved that quote from Aladin. You leaned down and put you head on his, he was holding you by your thighs. He made sure he didn't slip on ice.
We finally made it to our destination, the subway.. Now it wa packed. People wanting to get to their families for the winter... But Bertholt was all you got, he was your family, and you couldn't be anymore happier. when you and Bertholt got into the subway car, you huddled close as it was packed in there. You decide to act innocent and cute an unzip his jacket and crawl in.
" Aw is my little snow angel cold?" He said zipping it back and and housting me up to I can see out of the jacket top. You laughed as he went to sit since he couldn't hold onto anything anymore
After the subway you went to your apartment and of course, Bertholt was behind you
" are you sure you wanna be left alone on Christmas Eve? I live right down the hall and we can have christmas together" he said holding the door as I walked in
" I'm good for now, thanks for worrying" you said as he let's go of the door
" See you tomorrow" he says and you wave, shutting the door. you got into you pajamas which was a spaghetti top with sweatpants, and into bed slowly falling asleep.
You woke up really early. 1:29 in the morning. You tried to fall asleep but couldn't. You get up and check under you pillow for a hotel key card.
You grabbed the card and ran out of your apartment, heading down te hall. You open this hotel door and look around. he had presents scattered everywhere and a mini tree in te corner. I giggled at how festive he was compared to my apartment and walk to his bedroom. you walk in silently to see his work of art he makes in his sleep. he always makes the weirdest postures in his sleep, a lot of the time when you sleep over you take a picture and it gets tons of likes on the picture. You walk over to Bertholt and shake his shoulder
" what is it Snow angel" he said rubbing his eyes, still half asleep.
" I can't fall asleep" you whine
"Then lay with me" he said making room for me to lay down with him. this wasn't weird for me. we always had this very close bond and nothing was unconftable to eachother.
You got Into the bed and you went under the covers, facing away from him. when you feel a hand on your shoulder. U turned as Bertholt came closer for warmth. I turned and buried my head in his chest. And you fell asleep like that.
You woke up the next morning alone, In his bed. you get up and take one if his small blankets and walk out with it wrapped around you. you headed down the hall to hear Bertholt walking around. you walk in to see all the presents pushed next to the tree. you giggle and he turns.
"Morning Angel, sleep good?" He asked smiling. You nodded and sat down on the couch. He walked over with a present and you smiled wider.
"For you" he said "oh and the others under the tree are yours too" he said looking at the tree and pointing. you laughed silently
"You shouldn't have" you said ripping open the present to see a neclace with half white wings as a pendant.
"What is this?" You examined it, it was made if diamonds
"Oh my god how much did it cost?!" you asked
"The other part costed more" he said looking at the necklace. then lifting his shirt to show his belt buckle, which had a symbol of half blue diamond wings. You smiled as he took the necklace. he attacked the wings and they were a pair that matched together.
"The wings if freedom" he said givin the necklace back to you. you smiled and kissed his forehead
"Thank you... "you said and he nodded
"Next present!"
