As i walked down the stone and new hallways of my new headquarters, I can't help but feel happy and scared at the same time.
I followed my dreams, and I can die at any moment. As I head down to the cafeteria on my first day I can't help but feel tense, any noise making my jump or expect the worse.
As I hit the cafeteria, I see my friends from my graduate camp, and end up sitting next to them.
As I ate, I looked over to a blonde above all. Had huge eyebrows and was instantly known for the captain. He was looking through folders, records, and looking at the people in the cafeteria whenever he would see their folder. He was looking at the noobies. As soon as we made contact I arched my eyebrow, fearless of anything really. He looked back down at the folder before looking up and shrugging.
I smiled stupidly before talking to my friends again. After awhile I throw away my trash, turning. I instantly smash into a chest. I quickly recover and look up cocking an eyebrow.
"You like getting close to newbies?" I ask, look up at Erwin.
He smiled before shaking his head.
"Sorry. I am a bit close" he said stepping back.
"I see your kill rate is really high. Higher then most people here. " he said. I nonchalantly nod.
"So where did you whip up 50 Titan kills?" He asked. I shrugged making my way away from the trash and telling him to follow as I went through the hallway.
"Simple. I got to the front of the line, was fast, and contained my gas. Me and Mikasa are good friends, we trade techniques. But I fly solo. So you won't have to worry about me being caught down" I said and stopped at a door.
"Weird, you would think that I would be following the captain" I said to him and he nodded.
"Well I'm very fascinated in your record. You also stole?" He asked. I nodded.
"My boyfriend got me into bad crap. Mistakes" I said silently. He looked confused. I looked around making sure no one was in the halls.
"Look. While I was with him, I Conceived a baby boy names Joel. I was visiting my mother in wall Sina. Came back, My boyfriend and Joel were dead. I just recovered so." I said
"How old are you of age?" He asked and I opened my bedroom door. I sighed "I'm 17" I looked at him. He shrugged.
"My first baby died when I was fifteen" he compared
"How old was it?" I cocked my eyebrow.
"He was ten months. He got really sick. " he said.
"I'm sorry" I said.
"Same to you. Walk with me " he said and I followed.
" I believed the king made a law saying you weren't allowed to be conceiving until your 18." He said and I slowly nodded.
" well. Let me tell you. Be glad the wall got them before the king did" he said. "My baby was sick but he wasn't dead. But they got her" he said running a hair through his hair.
"What was her name?" I asked looking down. After awhile he smiled.
"Belle" he said
"Well then I shouldn't be getting the lecture. How old are you anyway?"
"28"
"Wow. Second day and I already know the deep backstory of the captain" I said sarcastically and he smiled
"Deep? Go to Levi. Try to get his backstory" I stopped in my tracks.
"Maybe I will" I said attitude and playful
"Okay. Well tell me the deets when he spills" he said sarcastically. I laughed and continued walking. We ended up being in his office.
"Why do you want to here?" He asked. I looked at him confused as I sat on the side of his desk facing his back as he looked for something in a cabinet
"First, I wanna do something in life-"
"Die?" He turned his head
I stood still
"No. I no I won't. I fight for my life. And I fight for others."
"Hmm" he said looking back and grabbing a folder. Then giving it to me.
"Look " he said. I opened it and saw my mother and her name.
"That's my mom" I said speechless.
"Yeah she was the best fighter. My father was her captain " I smiled as I looked at the drawing made of her.
"Do you know who drew this?" I asked taking the picture between my fingered and examining it.
"My father loved your mother. Your mother became pregnant with a baby when she was in the army. Crushing my father" I stay silent
" your mother went home and had the baby. Came back and was killed by the father of that baby. My father then killed the father. " I look at him
"Why are you telling me this?" I asked. He simply shrugged.
"I just think how in a place of war, a different kind of war was happening in our family. You can go now" he said turning to me, realizing I was sitting on his desk. He looked up and down before I got up and walked out. I headed into my bedroom and I was done for the day. I was woken up with a bang on the door. I almost fall out of bed. I quickly went to the door. Opening it, realizing it was Erwin, realizing I only had my underwear on, and threw the door shut. I then went to my dresser and out in sweats and a burgundy sweater on. I turn and he was right there.
"Morning " he said and my face went red.
"Uh- morning. I'm sorry about the underwear thing" I said and he laughed lightly.
"Not the worst thing that's happened to me. Someone came into my room NAKED before. While I was asleep" he said biting his lip. "It was horrible. " he replied.
"So why did you wake me?" I asked. And he cowarded alittle.
"Um. We have nothing today. And uhhhh" he starts going into a hidie hole(cowarding) "just spit it" I said smiling.
"Let's go out on horses and ride" he said quickly. I nodded and he smiled. "Let's get breakfast first" we nod together.
