It was early afternoon.
Stardust had stopped to eat. Since she had all of eternity, she decided to be a traveler, see the world, as her mother had been doing until she bumped into Remedious.
Suddenly, a light brighter than the sun appeared out of the cloudy sky. A man emerged, riding on a white horse. Stardust squinted. Was it-
They landed in front of Stardust.
Sky looked happier than she had in a long time.
"It's ending. The world is ending." Stardust said, realizing the dark, swirling clouds above.
"This is your last day on Earth." Sky confirmed. "But it's also the first day of the rest of your life... your life with me."
