The boy flipped the story book reading the simplified words one by one. His imagination traveled further to a realm no man have ever been but in dreams. His attention was drawn to the story told by the author through his book. He was playing the main character in the story, a young adventurer that met a dragon in his way to his quest for the lost star. He was lost in the story for a moment of time, thinking how interesting it would be on that alternative world. He flipped another page full of a drawing of a fiery dragon. He admired the drawing for few second and glanced at his mother who were absorbed in her latest Nicholas Spark's novel Message In The Bottle.
"Mom, is the dragon real?" He asked innocently. His mother stopped reading and look at him and smiled.
"They exist only in books, darling. They're not real as in real," she replied and continued with her half finished book.
"But, how do people know how they looks like if they are not real?" He asked again.
"Well, they imagined it."
"But they looks real."
"They are real in the books but not in real life," she said.
"I want to see a real dragon, " he said. His mother smiled and touched his face gently.
"You can see the crocodiles at the zoo. They looks like dragon most," she said.
"But they are not dragon!"
"Dragon isn't real, honey."
