Papyrus P.O.V.

  I was just coming back from my shift and a place called McDonald's when I started to think about Sans. Ever since he had been on the surface for 1 year he's been getting distant. I find myself starting to be worried about it and so far I've come up with nothing. But, just in this moment I've realized something.

I was just getting into the house when I hear Sans crying. I started walking toward the sound and see an open door.

As I come around the corner I started being able to see inside the room. What I saw shocked me. I saw Sans... AND HE WAS CUTTING!!!

I started to feel myself cry, a sob, no a weep came from my mouth. Sans looked like he was frightened by the sound and he looked towards me. He looked scared.

"S-sans..." I say as I walk towards him and hug him. Us weeping into each other.  "Why did you?..." I started to cry more. "i'm sorry i-i, *sniff* i am so sorry!" This is when I promised to protect him no matter what happened.

End of flashback:

I started to run home just thinking about all the bad things that could have happened. When I got there I could see Grillby laying on the couch, but I can't see Sans anywhere. He usually is right next to his house guests. I ran up to Grillby and tapped his shoulder. As he was waking up he saw my worried face and woke up instantly. "... What's wrong Papyrus." "GRILLBY WHERE IS SANS." He had a scared look just like mine on his face. He got up looking around as he did so. 

Looking at me dead in the eyes, giving me a look that said he could not find him either. I run up stairs and Grillby follows, I burst into his room. Sans... He looked up at me. Tears streaming down his face. His legs are swollen and cut up.

Deep and long cuts all over his legs. I run to him hugging him while saying to him over and over again that I will protect him. Sans, my big brother, started cutting again. And I didn't know.

I see Grillby coming to Sans' other side and start to kiss him. I lean into Grillby and said something I never thought to call him. "Thanks for being there for him new big brother."

His flames flicker in happiness then he turns back to Sans and starts to kiss him all over. I say I need to call someone and leave the room. I take out my phone and call mom and dad. They get here in 5 minutes and we have dinner the rest of the night.

None of us bringing us the fact Sans cut. We did talk about how Grillby was a part of the family now.

We were finally happy that night as a family.
