Matt woke up, once again, in his bed. He looked at the clock. It was actually two hours before school started. He wasn't going to be almost late for once. Matt approached his deck and started scrolling through his cards. His eyes widened as one of his cards started glowing.
"What the!" Matt yelled.
A white ball came out of his deck and a figure formed next to him. It was Soldier from the night before. His expression was the same as Matt's. Complete surprise.
"What the heck! What the!" Matt cried.
"What? How? No!" Soldier shouted angrily.
"What are you doing here?" Matt asked urgently.
"I don't know! He told me he didn't give you it!" Soldier yelled.
"Gave me what?" Matt asked. He looked at his deck and noticed two cards. One was Black Luster Ritual and the other was Black Luster Soldier. "Does that mean you're..."
"Yes...I am the Black Luster Soldier!" Soldier shrieked.
"But how? How is that possible? Duel Monsters aren't real!"
"What do you think I am Stupid?" Soldier asked angrily.
"Well...I" Matt didn't know what to say. A Duel Monster? Real?
"Ugh, I'm stuck here for the rest of eternity!" Soldier complained.
"Wait, what?" Matt asked looking quite confused.
"You're the Watcher!" Soldier yelled like Matt should know what that was.
"A Watcher?"
"Yes! A Watcher!"
"What's that?"
"Oh my gosh!" Soldier roared. "The Watcher can see Duel Monster spirits, and yes! Before you ask, yes! Duel Monsters have spirits!"
"Uh...ok..." Matt said uncertainly. "So why aren't all my other monsters here?"
"Because only some monsters can be seen! Specific monsters, and before you ask...I have to stay with you because I'm bound to you now. That guy you met gave you the cards to summon me in battle. I couldn't leave even if I tried! Every time you summon me in battle, I'll just come right back. It angers me that I'm stuck with an idiot like you!"
"Why are you so quick to judge?" Matt asked taking offense to Soldier's comment.
"Because all of you teenagers are all the same! Annoying and stupid!" Soldier answered.
"Technically, I'm twelve!" Matt corrected.
"I don't care!" Soldier roared.
"At least keep quiet! My parents'll hear you!"
"Are you really that dumb? Your parents can't hear me, nor can they see me! They aren't Watchers!" Soldier yelled with rage.
"Uh..." Matt couldn't finish. He went back into a white ball and went in. At least he could retreat back into his card. Matt jumped on his bed. His life just kept getting worse and worse...
