Next day
Olive
Winding down, I sat at my window, watching the rain pour down as I listened to Sabrina Claudio's - As Long As You're Asleep.

I was so upset about yesterday but Sage tried his best to make me feel better. I appreciated his efforts but his mother's words cut deep. If there was ever a chance of her and I working on a relationship, it was never going to happen now. I could forgive and forget but after this, there was no more of that.

Stopping my music, my phone rang and I grabbed it.

"Hello." I answered without looking at the caller I.D.

"Open the door." Sage said before hanging up.

Sighing, I got out of bed and made my way downstairs to open the door for him.

"Hi, babe." I spoke as I opened the door and he lifted me off my feet.

"What's up, babygirl?" He kissed my cheek repeatedly as he put me back on my feet.

"Nothing, just relaxing today." I told him as I closed the door and we made our way upstairs.

"Without me?"

"You were busy, I called you twice earlier."

"I apologize, babygirl. I was working on something.." He trailed off and I nodded.

Once we made it to my room, Sage closed the door behind him before he kicked off his shoes and we got in bed.

"Why it's so dark in here?"

"Just enjoying the rain." I admitted to him and he nodded as I began to play my music again.

Letting the music play softly, he wrapped his arms around my waist.

Softly kissing my forehead, I looked up at him and it looked as if he was in deep thought.

"What's wrong, babe?" I asked, running my hand down his face.

"Just thinking."

"About what?" I looked him in his eyes and he bit his bottom lip.

"What if we would had our baby? What if we would've just did it, ma."

"Do you wish that we did?"

"I don't know. It's like I understand you weren't ready and I know we're still young. It's just.." He trailed off.

"What if?" He said and I nodded.

"I was thinking that too. There was really nothing stopping us, except us." I agreed.

"I never even asked you how you felt about it."

"It was up to you, ma. Whatever you wanted to do. That's all that ever mattered to me."

"But did you want to?" I asked, just to see what his answer would be.

"I wouldn't mind it. I love you." He spoke and my heart lit up.
