You declared hugging his shoulders, your words slurry and incoherent.

His skin shivered under your cold touch. For a moment,he forgot how to breath.

He shut his eyes, breathing in the sweet lavender of your perfume, trying to savour the feeling of this.

"You know you are soo sweet.Why do people call you cold? You are as cold as...as choco sundae...on ..on a hot summer afternoon."

You hummed, proud of making a suitable comparison.

"Is that supposed to be a compliment?" He asked arching an brow.

"Or are you calling me greasy?"

"Meow meow" You replied with a serious expression.

"Woah..How drunk are you?" He muttered underneath his breath.

Whining you untangled yourself from his arms and mushed his cheeks together to face you.

"Ughhh..just stop moving!"

You groaned while the world swayed in front of you making you see two Yoongis.

And both of them rolled their eyes at you.

You peered at him from beneath your eyelashes.Your red lips pouting.

"Yoongi?"

"Yes?"

"Am I pretty?"

He stared at you.

The long night had smudged your lipstick to mix with the blush on your cheeks. Your eyelashes clumped from crying hard, your breath laced with intoxication. You looked like a mess.

"Beautiful."

He whispered, sincere.

You threw your head back and laughed.The pretty sound resonated from the studio walls. It pulled at his heartstrings , twisting them till he could feel a lump at his throat, aching to have you in his arms again.

You laughed till your throat burned. You laughed till you succumbed to coughs.

He sighed and stretched his hand towards his desk, his fingers wrapping against the cool handle of the jug. He poured you a glass of water.

You shook your head refusing it and sprawled yourself across his lap,golden dress slipping from your porcelain shoulders, exposing silvers of tempting skin.

He looked away.

"But that won't make him love me back. Will it?"

You wondered, staring blankly at the harsh ceiling lights of his studio.

They were witness to all the times you had been here and all the times you had voiced the same question turning it over and over in your head till it was not even a question anymore, but a sorry contemplation.

"God...I am so pathetic."

You laughed , your voice breaking.

"I saw her last day.I saw them.Together.It hurt...it hurt so much knowing that all that.. everything we had was a lie. I was nothing but a rebound..a catalyst for him to get on the love of his life. "

You sobbed, your hands clenching fistfulls of his hoodie.

"Why do I love him Yoongi? Why do I want someone I can't have?"

You gulped back air to stop the onslaught of tears that ran down your cheeks.

"He will never see me for who I am. Yet all I do is pine for him. Helplessly. Like an idiot Yoongi. Like a blind pathetic idiot."

Yoongi wiped your tears, his own vision blurry.

"Trust me,"He mumbled, carding his fingers through your messed up hair , drinking in every detail of your face.

"I know."

It was like this almost every
night. You would get piss drunk and then stumble off to the person who means the most to you.

To the person who means the second most to you.

He was never your first priority when it came to matters of heart.

Fucking Friend zoned.

"I know."

He repeated as a lone teardrop fell on your face while you complained in your drunk stupor that the ceiling was leaking.

That made him laugh. He wiped his eyes hastily and hoisted you up complaining how heavy you have gotten while you sang Spongebob Squarepants at the top of your lungs.

The moon hung low in the sky, caressing your features in her silver sighs.

Why Cupid gotta be so cruel?

He was as pathetic as you are.
Pining for a fairytale that does not belong to him.

You were someone else's moon.

Just like he was yours.
