It was on the day that my fiance broke the engagement. Our family saw it happen. After all, he broke the news just like the typical cliche manhwa story at the party event at his father's company.

Everyone whispered among themselves while I was stunned to hear his words. Her lover stood beside him, holding his hands, and looked at me apologetically.

"So, Megumi chan. Gomen but I never love you. The person that I love the most is Ayaka. I want to be with her."

"If you do, why do you do this to me? You could just tell me that you are not interested."

"What else am I supposed to do back then? I have no power. I can not disobey my father. Now that I am a part of this company and have my income increasing, I can finally end this engagement."
He hugged his lover's side.

"I do not want to hurt Ayaka anymore."

"Hiro kun."

Ayaka san looked and me, bowing slightly.

"I am so sorry megumi san! I did not know that you are his fiance. When i found out, i try to break up with him. But, i cant. I love him. Please let us be together!"

I could not hear them any longer. I feel so stupid, embarassed, rejected. This will be a hot gossip around my father's company as well. I took a step back, shaking my head as i cover my ears, refusing to listen. I just ran outside the venue.

Mom, you were right. He is a cheater.

I feel so stupid.

Father followed me from behind. Did he came to comfort me. At least he try to act as a parent.

My eyes wide open as i touch my right cheek.

Father looks so angry. Why would he? It is all hiro's fault.

"You good for nothing daughter! I thought that you can at least be use for strengthing my company. You can't even make a man fall for you."

I talked back,

"It is not my fault! How am i supposed to know he have someone else?"

"Just go home. You will just embarassed yourself if you stay." With that, he went back to the venue.

He is right. I better went home.

But i cant.

So i just get a quick rest at nearby garden. Far from people.

"If I am you, i better get inside the venue miss. It looks like it is going to rain."

I laughed harshly before took a glance at the person. A young blonde man, wearing red tuxedo, completing his appearance with a top hat and a mask resting on his face.

I stumbled a bit at my seat. He is not an ordinary people.

"You are lupin red, arent you?"

He tilt his hat and smirked. Why is he here?

"That is right miss."
