i woke up the next morning in a haze, my family had already gone to breakfast and left me alone in the room. i groaned as i sat up, my head was pounding.

climbing out of bed, i slipped my clothes off from the night before and changed into a fresh outfit. simple, jean shorts, a black belt, and a hawaiian shirt. it is vacation after all!

i began to apply my usual makeup and hurried to pull my shoes on, trying to rush to the buffet as fast as possible to try and find niall.

after i was finished, i grabbed my room key and walked out, going down the hall to the elevator.

i was met with a middle aged woman as the doors opened, she smiled at me and scooted over for me to get in. i smiled back at her and we went up to the buffet level.

the door pinged and i walked out, looking around and hoping niall had come up for breakfast. i walked down the buffet lines and searched around the tables, but felt my heart sink when i realized he wasn't there. i was about to give up, making my way out of the dining area when i felt a pair of arms grab me.

i nearly screamed, but felt a hand clamp over my mouth. my eyes widened, but i heard a familiar laugh from behind me. i pulled away and turned to face niall.

"you scared the shit out of me!" i shouted, angry. alex and niall were in a fit of laughter.

"we came up to find you since everyone's downstairs, i was just hoping you were here." niall told me, i nodded.

"so are we going down to the club thing or whatever it's called?" niall laughed and nodded.

"come on, silly." he put his arm around me and alex walked beside me as we made our way out to the elevators.

the elevators moved down as i leaned into niall, alex stood awkwardly across from us.

"come on, love birds." he groaned as the elevator doors pinged and opened to let us out. we walked down the hall to the club area and began to look around for everyone else.

i saw the back of alyssa's hair and made my way over to her, poking her side.

"hey!" she shouted and began to laugh. i grinned at her and sat down on the stool beside her. niall stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, placing his chin on top of my head.

"gay." nick groaned while looking at the two of us. i rolled my eyes and flipped him off, staring up at the tv as henry and jess played a game of 2k.

"shit!" jess groaned and slammed the controller down on the counter. "you beat me everytime." henry stuck his tongue out her, and they both look towards the rest of us.

"what are the plans for today?" henry asked. everyone shrugged in response.

"i'm definitely never going back up to alyssa's room ever again." i laughed, alyssa laughed too.

"hey! it's not myyyy fault you're a light weight." she replied. i scrunched my nose up and sat up straighter.

"do you wanna sit?" i asked niall. "i'm comfy, you sit."

i felt him rock me back and forth a bit, i smiled. jess gave me another glare, which i ignored. what the fuck is her problem?

"vivvvv." alyssa snapped her fingers in front of my face. i blinked out of my haze and laughed, not even realizing i had zoned out "sorry, sorry."

"we should go tanning." she elbowed me a bit, smiling. i nodded. "yeah! wanna come up with me to my room so i can change? then we can go to yours so you can change?" i asked.

"sounds like a plan." she poked niall. "you coming, doofus?"

he rolled his eyes. "nah, i'll just stay here with everyone else. stay safe you crazy kids." he ruffled my hair, i scrunched my nose and turned around to him in response.

"especially you, you're too cute to get hurt." he poked my nose and i laughed.

"shut up you dork." i hopped off the stool and wrapped my arms around his torso. "see ya later?"

"see ya later."

alyssa and i ran off and out of the club to find the elevators.

"so you and niall, huh?" i laughed lightly.

"we just met, it's nothing." i responded, she rolled her eyes.

"i see the way he looks at you, definitely not nothing."
