back to vivian's pov.

i felt someone shaking me aggressively, my eyes opened slowly to see niall standing over my chair.

"you fell asleep in the sun?" niall asked, sounding worried. i shrugged and stretched a bit, then sat up.

"yeah, i'm alright." i sighed and stood up, adjusting my bikini top and looking up at niall. alyssa was awoken by nick, and she looked at me with wide eyes.

"oh my god." she gasped, looking me up and down.

"what?" i looked to niall, nick, then her. "what's wrong?"

"you're so dark." i glanced down at my legs to see that they were in fact, very, very dark. i'm normally pretty fair skinned, so this was a 'holy shit' moment.

niall began to laugh, "you look like a burnt chicken nugget." he joked. i felt my face heat up, all three of them were laughing.

"shut up!" i murmured, looking to niall. "it's better than looking like the pillsbury dough boy." i crossed my arms, the three of them continued to laugh.

"yeah, yeah." niall groaned. "whatever, let's just go get some food from the buffet." he put his arm around my shoulders and the four of us began to walk inside towards the food.

we all gathered around the ice cream machine, not a big surprise. alyssa got her usual vanilla while the rest of us got chocolate.

"vanilla is so gross." nick gagged, pointing to alyssa's ice cream. she punched him in the shoulder.

"shut up you noodle headed bitch." she sassed back. nick gasped dramatically and put his free hand on his heart. "that hurt my feewings" he moped, alyssa gave him the finger as a response. the four of us took our ice cream and began to head back downstairs to the club area.

niall kept his arm around my shoulder as we stood in the elevator. i looked up at him and smiled as he finished his ice cream. i still held mine in my hand, but it was mostly just the cone left.

the elevator finally stopped at our floor and we all got out, making our way down the hallway to the club area. it was almost 6 o'clock, meaning some kids would be off to dinner soon.

niall moved his arm to be around my waist as we walked in, our friends were sitting on the couches near the back. alex stood up and waved us all over, we joined the rest of the group.

"we were thinking about going up to jess's room for a bit, you guys down?" he asked. i looked up at niall and he shrugged, we all did.

"sure." alyssa replied, all of us just nodding in agreement. "okay, let's go you guys." alex said to the rest of the group who all stood up. jess gave me a look as she walked past, seriously what the fuck is her problem?

"come on." niall pushed me a bit and held onto me. "do you want me to carry you, you big baby?" he asked with a smile. i finished the last bit of my ice cream cone and nodded, holding my arms out like a small child. he bent down a bit and i hopped up on his back, he put his arms down to support my legs.

our whole group gathered in the elevator, which was completely full since there were so many of us. alex looked up at me on niall's back. "y'all are gross." he laughed, punching my thigh lightly. "hey!" i retaliated, kicking at his hands. niall laughed, looking to alex and shrugging.

once the elevator reached jess's floor, we all got out and made our way down the hallway. it was about twenty doors down from what i knew, and niall was carrying me the whole way.

eventually we stopped and jess pulled her room key out and put it into a door. it clicked and she pushed it open, then held it open for all of us to go in.

niall walked in and placed me down on the couch, then sat down next to me. henry sat by his feet and alex sat by mine, alyssa and nick were across from us on the floor.

jess smiled brightly and sat down next to henry. "so guys, i have an idea." she gave me and niall a look, her eyes darting back and forth between both of us.

"let's play truth or dare." she grinned, everyone nodded in agreement. i gave niall a look, and he shrugged as a response.

"i'll go first then!" jess looked over at niall. "niall, truth or dare?"
