It was Monday, We left on Friday for Florida.

Lets just say I was dreading going to dance.

Paige had told Mrs. Hanna about the deal, not saying it was me who told.

It was not going to be fun.

But, I had to get through school first.

Even worse.

I walked into the building and walked to my locker.

I set my dance bag on the hanger along with my jacket.

Out of the corner of my eye I see someone lean against the locker next to mine.

I turn to see Nichole.

"What?" I ask.

"Stay away from Will" She spits.

"Okay?" I scoff.

"He's mine, besides, why would he want some lame sophomore when he can have a hot junior" Nichole smirks.

I shake my head "First off, you're only a year older, second off, the fact that you refer to yourself as hot is just....Yuck"

Nichole glares "Listen, I'm going to be the cheer captain next year and Will is bound to be the senior football captain, we are going to be a thing, and you are just a wimpy freak"

I sigh "You know what Nichole?" I close my locker "You can have him, because by the time tonight ends...He's going to hate me more than he already does"

With that I walk away, not looking back.

My heart beat going 1000 miles per hour.

It wasn't even a big deal? Right?

I told the truth.

I've never lied to Mrs. Hanna.

And could this even count as lying?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We stood there in silence.
Mrs. Hanna told us all to come into studio A and wait for her.
No one had a clue of what was going on, except me.
I felt horrible.
And I don't even know why!
I still don't understand what the big deal is.
The door opens and Mrs. Hanna walks in with Paige.
Paige gives me a weak smile.
"It has come to my attention that you guys have made a deal" Mrs. Hanna states.
Everyone looks around as I keep my eyes glued to the floor.
"This was supposed to be a bonding experience for both teams! Instead, you make a deal so the football players can leave early? Which would've never happened in the first place" Mrs. Hanna explains "So instead of rehearsing for our competition this weekend, we will be doing conditioning"
Everyone groans.
We didn't want to do this.
We wanted to work for the competition.
"Jumping jacks, Go!" Mrs. Hanna yells.
Sophie and I take our t-shirts off to reveal our sports bras, knowing we were going to be hot by the end.
Mrs. Hanna walked around the room, ordering silence.
"Who told?" I hear Faith ask.
"Probably little miss perfect over there" Kendal answers.
I can feel the stares proceed as the workout continued.
I felt like I was going to be sick.
Tears threatened to spill out of my eyes.
"Did you tell?" Sophie whispers to me.
I sniffle and stop my crunches.
"Ava!" Mrs. Hanna snaps.
My breathing became unsteady as I stood up.
My balance became shaky and I bolted out of the room to the bathroom.
I ran in a stall, sliding down the wall, not bothering to lock the door.
My sobs echoing through the room.
I hear the door opened and I hear my name being called but it sounded muffled.
I could barely see through my tears as someone entered the stall.
"Hey...Hey" The person cooed, sitting next to me "Deep breaths"
They wrap an arm around my shoulders.
I start doing some breathing exercises my mom taught me, knowing our familys past of panic attacks and anxiety.
My sobs become hiccups and my breathing becomes steady.
"Better?" Jordan asks.
"I-I-" I stutter "Yeah"
He gets up, offering his hand to help me up.
I take it, trying to stand but falling down, still shaking a bit.
"Okay" Jordan sighs, crouching down and picking me up.
I laugh a little as he walks out of the stall, placing me on the counter.
He hands me a few tissues and I wipe my eyes.
"It was me..." I whisper.
"I know..." Jordan shrugs "But I don't care about that, I care about whether you're okay or not"
I nod "I'm fine"
"We aren't mad....well the people who matter, I can't say much for the football team, Kendal, and Faith, But they all suck soooo" He smiles.
I giggle "Thanks"
"For what?" He asks, Sitting next to me.
"For chasing me to a girls bathroom and helping with my panic attack" I answer.
"I helped? I was worried I would make it worse" He states.
"No, It helped" I nodded  "Is Mrs. Hanna mad?"
 "She's worried" He explains "I think she's going to send you home though"
I frown "I can't miss! The competitions this weekend!"
"One day wont matter, you need rest; Besides, we are just doing conditioning the rest of the day" He shrugs.
"I have a private" I frown.
"You don't need it, your solo is the definition of perfection" He states.
I shake my head "Whatever"
He hops off the counter and I do the same.
We walk out to the dressing room where Mrs. Hanna is.
I don't say anything, she opens her arms and I walk in, accepting the hug.
Just like Jordan said, she told me to head home.
I nodded and walked upstairs to the viewing room.
"Ryder?" I ask.
"What's up?"
"Mrs. Hanna sent me home" I explain.
"Because of the-"
"Yeah"
He nods, getting up.
I go back downstairs, putting on some joggers and a jacket, grabbing my bag and walking out to the front office.
Ryder and I leave the studio without another word.
I climb into his car and we leave.
"Want to talk about it?" He asks.
I shake my head, turning the music up and looking out the window.
