"Captain Typho has more than enough men downstairs. No assassin would try that way." Amalia announced.
"Any activity up here?" Corvus asked anxiously.
"Quiet as a tomb." Zarina said.
"I don't like just waiting here for something to happen to her- them." Anakin quickly corrected himself. Obi-Wan looked down at a blank screen where footage of the Senators' room was supposed to be.
"What's going on?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Ah, they covered the cameras. I don't think they liked us watching them." Anakin answered.
"What are they thinking?"
"They programmed R2, R4, and R5 to warn us if there is an intruder." Zarina informed the Jedi Masters.
"There are many other ways to kill three Senators." Analia stated grimly.
"I know, but we also want to catch this assassin, don't we, Master?" Zarina asked. Obi-Wan turned to face her and crossed his arms.
"You're using them as bait." He pointed out.
"It was their idea. Don't worry. No harm will come to them. I can sense everything going on in those rooms. Trust me." Anakin answered.
"It's too risky. Besides, your senses aren't that attuned, my young apprentice." Obi-Wan quipped.
"And yours are?" Anakin sassed.
"Possibly." Obi-Wan raised his eyebrows. Zarina made her way to the balcony.
"You look tired." Amalia observed her Padawan.
"I don't sleep well anymore." Zarina answered.
"Because of your mother?"
"I don't know why I keep dreaming about her." She said.
"Dreams pass in time."
"I know Anakin would much rather dream about Zelena, or Corvus about Padmé, or even Obi-Wan would rather dream about Cordalia. I know for a fact that Anakin thinks being around her again is intoxicating." Zarina smiled, but their thoughts were interrupted by Obi-Wan.
"Be mindful of your thoughts, Anakin. They betray you. You've made a commitment to the Jedi order, a commitment not easily broken. And don't forget, she's a politician, and they're not to be trusted." Zarina knew he was speaking about Zelena.
