Everyday a person!

Monday.

Ok! I opened my eyes. I was on a piece of wood. Wow, who sleeps on wood?! I went out to the closest mirror.

Not surprised at all! Melina! She was the only girl who came with the same clothes everyday.

I opened the lights to take a look at her house.

Ok. It seemed to me more like a horse stable. It was one bedroom, a kitchen and a really small bathroom I coulda sworn it was made by mistake!

She, her parents and her bigger brother shared one small room. Her parents woke up.

" Good morning sweetheart! " told me her dad.

" Umm... Good morning! " I replied.

Then her brother rolled on the piece of wood he was sleeping on and came up to me.

" sup? " he said.

" Umm.... Can I ask you a question?! " I said " Do I have a phone? I really need to make phone call! " I wasn't planning on staying in this barn for the day.

" np! " he said " mum said you have to get an A* on today's exam so you can buy a small Nokia! "

Nokia?! Exam?! Today?!

I really miss my iPhone!

I went to eat breakfast in the kitchen. It was a small cheese sandwich and a cup of milk.

" Quickly finish it up and get ready for school. You don't wanna be late for your science exam " told me her mother.

At school, being Melina, I was sitting behind my own self, Linda. I had one more science lesson and then the exam.

Linda turned around to me " Hey Nerdina, I imagine you chopped you're nails while studying yesterday for the exam the same way that goth girl chopped her nails in the movie! "

I did just like Melina always does; cover my face with my curly brown hair. It hurt!

" As you know " said said Miss Tina " All birds have beautiful and colourful feathers, red, green, blue..... "

We sat in the exam hall. It was the first time my heart beats so fast for a stupid exam. I felt sorry for the real Nerdina who doesn't even have a Nokia!

For the first time, I felt like helping people out in their lives. I wanted to get an A* in this exam and bring happiness to the poor girl's heart!

I started solving. I solved two-third of the exam and stopped at this question:

" Can bluebirds see the colour blue? "

I once saw a funny fact on TV saying that being named bluebirds, they can't see the colour blue.

But seriously.... What is the use of the blue feathers? All I ever know is that feathers are used to attract mates, so if they can't even SEE the blue colour then there's totally no use of the feathers! I guess all birds can see blue!

I scribbled down my answer.

Two hours after the exam, the teacher handed us our checked papers. I couldn't breath!

No.... What if I don't get the A*?

I took a deep breath and looked at my paper.

" Yes! " I yelled " I did it! Omg I did it! "

Everybody turned around and looked at me.

I guess I was too happy to bother about them!

I returned home and ran up to Melina's mum. " Look! I got an A*! " I shouted.

" Great honey, I knew you could do it so I bought you the phone yesterday! Here, open the box!

I was expecting an old Nokia with a rotten small screen... But I found an iPhone!

After all, I couldn't believe I'd make Melina happy for the rest of her life!!

I chew one of the sweets and went to bed.
