The next day after holiday, I went straight to class to find Amelia.
" Amelia! " I said
She turned around.
" Umm... I .. Bought something for you! " I said getting the fat burner out. It was nicely wrapped and I added a ribbon on the top.
" Take it its just a something small I thought you might need! "
She opened it up and looked at it beginning to smile. " How'd you know? "
" Well, let's say I took a glimpse at the real you! I like you! You don't need to be a normal person to be my friend.... And by the way, congratulations for winning the match! "
" Thanks! It's just that I don't remember I even played! My parents say my memory lasts for one day... But this incident that happened today..... I'll never forget! "
I gave her a big hug and went to look for Shrivvy.
" Hey! Guess what?! " I said approaching Shrivvy.
She looked at me.
" I want you to come home with me today so we can watch dead body 3 together! "
" You actually like it? " she said amazed.
" Ya.... I also like Anna dressed in blood..I guess I just had to look at things differently! "
" Wow! I can't believe those words are coming out of your mouth! I mean, you probably thought I was some kind of cyco freak or something! " she said
" Actually, I realised I was the freak by acting all selfish and stupid! Anyway, hope you can make it at 6:00!
" Sure! " she said.
I also went to give Melina the iPhone and told her she was a genius by solving this hot question in the science exam. Then went and told Sasha that I'd always be there whenever she needed me and that I'd be happy to hang out with her.
At lunch, I decided to stand up for Kelly. When everyone started laughing at her for falling on her plate once again, I stood up and banged the table to grab attention.
" All of you! Don't you feel ashamed of laughing at an innocent girl who forgives you all for all the harsh things you do to her without taking care of her feelings?! "
Everybody went quite. Kelly looked at me happy but amazed I was supporting her for the first time in my life.
" Come on guys! You know she never did anything bad to any of you! Who thinks I'm right?! " I stared at all of them.
Nobody moved.
Then suddenly, Lizzy stood up " I'm with her, I mean... If you come to think about it, after all, she's one of us and we wouldn't want anyone to hurt her! Am I right?! "
Kelly looked at both of us now feeling overjoyed she had two people who cared about her.
Then one by one, they stood up and said something sweet about Kelly.
" I think we should really stop differentiating between us! Srsly! Who's ready to stop this whole group-like thing we're doing? "
Almost everyone was with her. They all started cheering and clapping. Then they all went to apologise to each other about the things they hurt each other with.
I myself, had to apologise to almost everyone! It made me feel happy that everyone was going to be treated the same from now.
Then Kelly ran from the end of cafeteria and ran into me with a huge hug.
I noticed Miss Flavia was staring at me really happy!
I went to her.
" Hey! "
" Hey! "
" So I can see you've finally understood the real meaning of friendship! " she said
" Ya! I've learnt my lesson! "
And actually.... I really have. I've learnt not to judge a book by its cover, which is; not to judge person by his looks.
